Implement progressive web app into the site
I’d specifically appreciate being able to open tildes from my iPhone’s homescreen and have it launch a PWA in a sandboxed safari. The experience will benefit, I’m sure :)

You can already save any web bookmark to your home screen in iOS; what specific benefits would your idea provide over that?
Specifically, the navigation bar would disappear and so will the bottom bar. Leaving you only with tildes, and no “browser”. Try pinning Instagram to the homescreen, for comparison.
I don't understand how that would be an improvement for Tildes. If you lose the navigation bar, you lose the ability to do an on-page text search, enable Reader mode, or adjust font size. You lose the TLS lock indicator. If you lose the bottom bar, you can no longer bookmark pages or maintain multiple tabs. If a Tildes link takes you to an external site you want to engage with on a deeper level, you need to break out of the sandbox and open it in normal Safari. That all sounds to me like it would be worse for Tildes, not better.
Have you read this section of the Tildes Philosophy documents?
"The site is the main mobile interface, not an app"
PWAs wouldn't conflict with that. It would still be the site just as it is now.
Okay. If you say so. I'll take your word for it.
I don't know what a "progressive web app" is (and I don't need to know!!!).
Well now you're just tempting me to explain it. ;)
I'm fairly sure that's already done. At least I have the icon on my homescreen.
