I can't invite anyone
I never invited anyone, but the message says You aren't able to generate more invite links right now.. I've been on Tildes for about a month now. Please advise.

On the topic of Tildes invites, has any consideration been giving to removing old invites after a period? I have a list of sent-but-not-redeemed invites, and eventually it's going to get confusing.
I think at one point I issued the same invite link twice because I was expecting new invites to be added to the bottom, not the top of the list.
Anyway I wouldn't suggest dev work be spent here if we're eventually doing away with invites. But if they'll be around for a while, maybe the UI could be cleaned up a bit. A way to clear them out over time, a datestamp to show when they were generated, that sort of thing.
Yeah, I have well over a hundred unused ones sitting on that page myself, so I definitely understand. (Though I'll never understand why so many people ask for an invite that they obviously don't actually care about)
I'll do a quick cleanup right now and get rid of all the invite codes that were generated over 30 days ago but haven't been used yet (for everyone, not just you).
I'm hoping to switch away from the invite system before too much longer. There are definitely problems with the page, but it's used extremely rarely overall by anyone, so it's not a big deal.
I think those will be topped up periodically, is how it works right now. So every so often, Deimos will just give everything 10 invite codes. If you just joined, apparently people start out empty.
Yeah, definitely that's the case. There are other ways to get invite anyway. r/Tildes has started another invite requests thread yesterday. We can send a email on invites@tildes.net to request an invite, that was how I received my invite.
Ah yeah, I haven't given out invites for a while, but I'll give you some now. Anyone can always message me if they need invites too.

I helped with invite drives when Deimos first launched the site. Still have some leftover from that.
He sent me a block of 1000, down to about 50 left from that big block. That was over a year ago. I just resend the old ones that build up if someone doesn't use them within a week.
Yeah, really wishing I could get a few myself. There's one or two people I'd love to invite over.
