This video seems a bit all-over-the-place with its arguments, but it's main argument, that cars aren't that bad for the environment compared to other factors, is pretty widely accepted as true.
That being said, it's obviously still better to not cause any pollution than to cause a bit of pollution, so using a car less or using an environmentally friendly one is a better choice. It's also a choice that the consumer can make on their own directly. Coal is a bigger problem and I'm outspoken against coal, but I can't really stop power companies from using coal. I can control what I drive or if I drive at all.

Coal power plants are a completely separate issue from cars that can be solved by completely separate policies and people. There's no reason to not work on both issues at the same time. There are almost eight billion people on the planet. We can work on more than one thing at a time.

I'd never even heard the "cars cause asthma" argument until this video. It seems like the creaters of the segment are blowing the dislike of cars out of proportion.
It's possible, given that this piece is old and from the UK, that there really was a need for a "Defense of The Car", but it comes off as a bit pointless today.

It's also better for conservation of resources to not use a car. That gas/oil/whatever won't last forever.

No, sorry, you misunderstood my point. I'm not a denialist. I am saying I'm not posting this as proof that climate change is a myth, the idea of it.
