... Sigh, I guess it's time for my (not kidding) fifth attempt to watch this show.
It should be right up my alley, and people with similar tastes in sci-fi to mine seem to swear by it, but the farthest I've managed to get before dropping it is like ten episodes in.
Some would say "maybe it's not for you then," but no. I'm determined to make it all the way through it someday, and betting that if I can get just a little further into it this time, it will hook me.

May I recommend the reddit linked episode importance guide? Try watching just the 4 star episodes and up (or 3, if you want a fuller picture). That's either 8 or 13 episodes for season 1, so you should get through it fairly quickly. Honestly if you don't like it after the end of season 2, it might not be for you, and that's okay.
Hmmm, are you starting over each time you give it another attempt? Very understandable if you keep stalling out then. Maybe this time don't start over, just start approximately where you left off?...

S1 is a bit dry and wooden, like most scifi shows it takes a while for the show to find its legs. If you make it into S2 you'll be fine. ;)
