Just let it be. We got a fantastic run of a show that did some amazing things for a primetime, network show and changed television comedy in immeasurable ways. That’s a pretty impressive legacy.
Disagree wholeheartedly. The show was forced to evolve as characters started to leave, but the writing for the final two seasons is stronger despite that. Season 5 is consistently hilarious and...

I am cautiously optimistic about the movie as I don't think Dan Harmon would do it unless there was a story to tell (as he's said in the past).

I do love Keith David and I thought he was a great character. I liked that they replaced Pierce with someone completely different.
It’s not bad, I just don’t think it works as well as the earlier seasons.
I noticed the same. The characters became more predictable. Abed was always going to do Abed things, et cetera. It was still great fun. Keith David and Jonathan Banks were great additions to the...

Keith David and Jonathan Banks were great additions to the cast. They couldn't recapture the same spirit of the original crew, but they still gave spectacular performances. Keith David's buildup for his wedding shtick was comedic genius.
I'll admit that there's a certain je ne sais quoi that left along Chevy Chase, but I really didn't like him. His character was a little too one-dimensional and by his last season the writers had...
I'll admit that there's a certain je ne sais quoi that left along Chevy Chase, but I really didn't like him. His character was a little too one-dimensional and by his last season the writers had basically removed any of the character's redeeming characteristics. Good characters are people who mostly act reasonably or logically but have flaws that subvert them from being perfect, but by the end Pierce was just plain evil. They basically did the same thing with Chang, now that I think about it - I guess that's why so many people don't like his later appearances either.
I'm actually surprised that I end up watching it as much as I do. Now that my kid is old enough to pick up ambient cues and words we've ended up settling on Peacock since it has a lot more...
I'm actually surprised that I end up watching it as much as I do. Now that my kid is old enough to pick up ambient cues and words we've ended up settling on Peacock since it has a lot more "network television" stuff, like Abbot Elementary, that we can just have on without needing to worry about the appropriateness of the content (as opposed to the specifically "For Kids" stuff on Netflix and Disney+ that he'll be actively watching).
Also all the Bravo reality show type stuff is on there, which my wife likes, which means I could finally ditch the $50/mo Sling TV membership.
I'm not subscribed, but I swear that at least once a month I learn about something that they have that I'm really interested in. I was really wanting to see that Queer as Folk reboot but I just...

I was really wanting to see that Queer as Folk reboot but I just learned that it's already been canceled after just one season in spite of generally good ratings.
I have a cousin who gets it for free since he has Xfinity. I used the free version they had a couple of years ago to watch Alfred Hitchcock movies. Outside of like, The Office though I don’t think...

Outside of like, The Office though I don’t think Peacock has a draw. They had Girls5Eva which was good, but nobody really watched it.

This might just drag me kicking and screaming to Peacock along with The Office Superfan episodes. Anyone genuinely getting a lot of use from Peacock?
