Looking forward to the next season, I really enjoyed the entertainment value of the first one, more than much of the other stuff Marvel has put out recently.

I'm somewhat mixed. I really enjoyed the first season, but after all the new stuff Marvel has put out of lately that I either disliked or simply didn't care for, I'm having a hard time convincing...

I think I agree. Wandavision showed the most creativity as well as making the best use of the episodic format. Loki was also well written and interesting. Do you (or anyone reading this thread)...

Do you (or anyone reading this thread) have an overall ranking of the TV shows? I think I have a top and bottom 3 but haven’t thought much about it…
I think I’d put Ms Marvel third, for different reasons. Bottom 3 would be Secret Invasion, She Hulk and Falcon/Winter Soldier. (Latter wasn’t terrible, just meh.)

So did they film this after the jonathan majors assult case? Does that mean marvel will not be blacklisting him? past that the preview looks good I'm interested to watch.

Definitely before. They've put Majors on ice ever since. I figure they're still putting this out because 1) they already sank a ton of resources into it. 2) it's not fair to everyone else in the...

My boy Pillboi is back!! I hope he's okay, Eugene Cordero is always delightful to watch. It's also great to see Ke Huy Quan, that man is freaking adorable! And Miss Minutes, too!! I'm pretty...

I'm pretty excited for this show! Hiddleston and Wilson are a fantastic pair, and the 1st season was quite a fun watch!
So...actually I hated season 1, I hope 2 is an improvement but most Marvel properties seem to be suffering from seasonal (Phasal?) rot. There were bad Marvel productions before phase 3 ended too,...

Nb. Don't come at me with that 'well why are you commenting if you don't care' angle. I'm commenting for the sake of sharing my point of view.
I'm asking out of curiosity, not as a challenge: what didn't you like about it? I thought it was okay but didn't like it nearly as much as I expected to. At this point, I don't even remember it...

I thought it was okay but didn't like it nearly as much as I expected to. At this point, I don't even remember it very well, which seems telling. So far, "WandaVision" and "Moon Knight" have been my favorites of the series, and Oscar Isaac's performance probably accounts for like 75% of the latter.
About Loki season 1? Well first, I dropped off at around episode 4, after Loki is disintegrated and the Time Keepers get their heads chopped off. My info from that point on is based on post...

Before I get into it, I also need to say something about plot twists. They should, ideally, A. expose a hidden layer in the scenes before it's revealed that you didn't see before, and/or B. tie in in some way to the characters and themes of the show. For example, a good twist is in The Avengers 2012, when Banner is finally pushed by the Mind Stone into admitting he tried to commit suicide to escape the Hulk, only for the Hulk to stop him. It ties into his character as someone who up until that point appeared totally in control of himself even after being deliberately provoked, and is a climax to the scene of the Stone pushing everyone into conflict.
What Loki does, is use plot twists to waste time, and to cover up its own mistakes. Like you know that neat animatef video they showed you? HA HA fooled you, you are dumb for paying attention, that was all lies. You know how Endgame created alternate timelimes to get replacement stones from and then give them back, but the TVA say there's just one and they prune all others? HA HA no that was all lies, Kang conned everyone, nothing is true, nothing is worth anything, even death doesn't matter because when you die you're actually sent to get eaten by a big smoke monster instead. You know how the title of the show is Loki and you tuned in to see him? Oh man did we fool you there, the plot is actually about Sylvie and she's the one that drives everything while Möbius effortlessly sees through every con Loki tries and convinces him into being good with a half hour slideshow, and Loki even outside the TVA is almost totally powerless to the point that human guards can toss him off a train with ease because he let himself get drunk on the only way off a planet about to blow up.

Me too! This looks really good to me.

This looks really fun. I love the combo of Owen Wilson and Tom Hiddleson. Hopefully it lives up to the trailer.

I think this was filmed before the assault case.
