Maybe it’s for the best? As much as I love Buffy, it has forever been stained by Joss Whedon. There’s plenty of other media out there.
I mostly feel the same but given all the Firefly hype right now I'd rather have a reboot of Buffy by women who loved it.
The (alleged) pilot script leaked, and if it's legit I can't even believe a pilot was filmed. What I've read is pretty awful.
