Would you visit Westworld?
Westworld Season 2 is in full swing and I love it so far, but would you live in Westworld if you could? A world with no consequences other than its own societal pressures seems pretty enticing...
I would very rapidly lose all moral strictures and be unfit for regular society if I ever lived in Westworld. I could visit for a few hours or so, or I could live there forever, but nothing in between.
So, William?
Assuming I lived a life where I had $60k+ per day for an experience like this, I wouldn't want to live there, but it would make for an excellent trip once a year for two weeks.
Spend the first couple of days riding around and playing the game, take a few days to relax, then hop back in for a good week-long adventure.
The real question is, how many trips would it take before you scalped someone?
No.
It might be fun to visit once or twice for the novelty, but it doesn't offer too many things that I'm both interested in and can't find in the real world. And I can't stand hot weather.
I'm a huge fan of The Matrix, so I'd definitely be super into going to Westworld at least once. Who knows how long term I could stay! I'd probably try and get a job at Delos for sure though
Hell yes, it'd be amazing.
I'm more interested in the AIs. Perhaps one day we'll have some smart ones like them.
Most definitely, but I wouldn’t murder or abuse the Hosts, just for leisure!
Absolutely.
I still need to watch the first season.
Im all about Shogun World
It's still unclear if the park is just like a big sandbox where you can do whatever or if it's really tailored towards violence and whatnot. (They've definitely mentioned things like "family friendly" areas but there's also been quotes about how the "essence of the park is violence", paraphrasing liberally). I'd say I'd go if it was more of a sandbox, but probably wouldn't go if it was "ultra-realistic murder sim" because I'm not into that.
