I completely agree. Some leeway, not complete. I want to see man land on Mars before I'm gone.

Thank you. That really helps as tomorrow she leaves with her mom (we are divorced and I have full custody) to Washington state for a month. She told me she really wants to live with her mom. She can do whatever she wants there, eat as much as she wants, and is the oldest child. Here she is the youngest. Her mom is not the best though and has had several issues in the past, which is why I have custody. I don't want to keep her from seeing her mom and don't want her rebelling and despising me because I would not let her live with her mom full time. It's a tough balance and something I will have a month to think about and decide :|

I would love to play the guitar but ganglion cysts on my wrists after a work injury back in 2000 has ruined my range of motion and they start hurting after 10-15 minutes.

My kids (17, 15, 13) and I have a family plan. We want to buy a plot of land in the Pacific Northwest and build tiny homes. Even if it is not the kid's main residence when they get older it is somewhere for us to go for family time. Something we plan to have done in the next 6-7 years.

2001 Ford Expedition. It's horrible on gas but great for hauling the kids around, camping, and getting dirty.

It's survived a couple accidents. (Neither were my fault). First was a year to the day after I bought it. I was sitting at a stop sign on a side street waiting to turn left onto a main street with no stop light or stop sign. Looked left and then right and then left again. Noticed a car coming from the left and looked back right, then got hit. At first I thought the driver missed the turn but they were hit from behind by another driver who didn't even slow down. No major injuries for me or my kids, Just some soreness. The at fault driver's insurance did not want to total both cars and since my repair was cheaper it got repaired. total repair was 2700. I only paid 1500 hundred for the truck. It has not been the same since. Small vibration and a rattle but nothing horrible.

Second accident was a year and a month to the day after the first accident. I was stopping at a red light and the driver behind rear-ended me. They had been looking in the glove box for tissues. My tow hitch pushed a hole through their bumper but the only issues with my truck was a piece of the paint from their vehicle stuck to the bumper.

I was looking to get something new-to-me and had been looking at the XPS13 but ended up with a good deal on a Microsoft Surface Book. It does not have the performance base, but I was not looking to game on it anyways. The screen / keyboard / design of it are amazing. I may eventually move to an XPS13 in a few years but this laptop is great and may have me hooked on Microsoft laptops for now.

I have a mid 2013 Macbook Air 11" that has been great, but is starting to slow down a bit. I'd love to upgrade to a 2015/2016 MBP but can't justify the expense right now.
