Podcast comments aside, what kind of egotistical asshole makes himself the host after being in charge of searching for a new host? The fact that he seriously considered it in the first place should be the thing that disqualifies him in the first place.

I had not heard any of the other controversy until today, but I felt the same way about the host search.

I know very little about this show, but I watched some YouTube clips due to the commotion. I really liked that Jennings guy.

Ken Jennings is one of the best players of all time. He had 74 wins during his original run, and earn $2.5 million.

I'm sort of hoping we never get a permanent host, but longer terms for guest hosts --- around two or three 'weeks' each would be nice. It'd be great to have some of the previous guest hosts come back. I'd love to see Burton get a shot at redemption.
