I don't have as much to add as the other commenters, but both William H. Macy and Francis McDormand's portrayal of the Minnesotan Germanic/Scandinavian dialect, while used as an unflattering punch line that aggravates snobby types in Minneapolis, is spot on. Those of us from the portrayed backwaters of the upper great plains recognize it like an old friend.

Add TP-Link Omada to your research list. Their gear has a pretty good parity with UniFi (except for video surveillance) and is less expensive. Warranty support is the same (pulling teeth) but the only time I had to use it was after a lightning strike which I can't exactly blame on the gear.

I have a 16-port PoE main switch that has spf+ ports for fiber uplinks, 8 of the 16 ports support 10Gb with PoE, supporting 2.5Gb to the 660HD AP. The router is ok, it does vlans and all the stuff a pro-sumer should want; the firewall is barely there but provides VPN. A hardware controller to manage it all, but could be replaced with the free software version.

    It's something to consider.

TP-Link Omada fills a bunch of these boxes, minus the video surveillance pretty well. Their router/"firewall" is a bit lacking in the "firewall" category, but the rest is all manageable from one console (either a dedicated $75 PoE box or software controller). The hardware is less expensive than Ubiquiti in my experience, and the console is so similar to UniFi, I don't know who ripped off whom.

The single instance of scammy behavior I saw in Italy this past year was on a narrow street in Florence outside the entrance/exit to a museum (can't remember which one), where a vendor laid out his "paintings" (cheap photocopies) on the busy street. People would walk and some would invariably step on his stuff, and he'd get all righteous anger and demand 100 Euros or so. Most told him to piss off.

I haven't been able to find a reason or answer to this anywhere else, so I'll try here- has anyone else dealt with absolutely insane resource utilization on Android with Lemmy? Any instance I try, the phone gets hot, data use skyrockets, and I can watch the battery discharge like a stopwatch. Within a couple of minutes, the browser will lock up and I'll have to smother the device with a pillow (power cycle) to get it to respond again. Any ideas?

I still have a 3.5" that has all my old university work on it (backed up to a few different locations, not floppy) that I plug into an external drive every year or so to see if it can still be read. Last month it still worked on Win11. It started life on Win3.1!
