Second on the Chick-Fil-A sauce. It's so savory, and perfect pairing to chicken and fries.

I actually think this is a good idea, and I think it actually circumvents the pitfalls of a five star system.

For one thing, clicking five-stars versus one-star is no different, and they both function similar to the upvote system. It only take a single click to reach the desired goal. With the applause system, If I'm understanding correctly from what you said, then it would take some time to reach the applause limit. I feel like if it functioned as one clap per second, with a maximum of fifty claps, then someone would have to hold the button for nearly a minute to fully upvote it, which most wouldn't be willing to do for most posts.

I think that with the applause system, the truly amazing posts will be the ones that most people would be willing to hold down the applause button for fifty seconds. Likewise, low-effort posts like memes and pictures of animals would only get 1-10 seconds at most. Maybe this could be a way for Tildes to slowly approach low-effort content? So people that want lower-quality stuff can set that as one of their preferences? Just a thought.

Hmm, well I'm relatively new as well, and up to this point I haven't really been paying attention to what artists produce what type of lofi.

Pretty much, I associate "ambient" lofi with the most popular YouTube stream, vibe with Rook1e and depressing with Vague003.

Really the best way to get into it is to listen to live streams first, and to record what tracks you like the most. Afterwards you can start looking through the artists and building your opinion

Also, I can't link cuz I'm on mobile, but there are a few songs that I've liked myself. I could share them if you want?

  4. So I haven't really watched anime except for Pokemon when I was a kid, but I'm thinking about getting into One Punch Man. Will I like it?

Pardon me if I don't know what I'm talking about, but I've never really been into anime, or the culture surrounding it. Personally I'm not into those cutesy anime stories, and I'd rather watch an american cartoon or some form of live-action show. Still, I've heard good things about One Punch Man, and it seems interesting. From those who've seen it, would you recommend it, and what other shows would you put it in the same categories with?

If the cookies never stop being produced, then it is logical to assume that, if unchecked, uneaten cookies will eventually choke the earth, leaving us uninhabitable. What is your plan, and how...

If the cookies never stop being produced, then it is logical to assume that, if unchecked, uneaten cookies will eventually choke the earth, leaving us uninhabitable. What is your plan, and how long do you think we'll last in this cookie apocalypse?

As for some general rules, the machine is impossible to break, and it can inexplicably produce cookies infinitely without having to refill on ingredients.

I think I worded my original post wrong. Playing video games in general is a good hobby, but you don't learn anything from playing COD multiplayer all day. Just like how reading is a good hobby, but you don't see schools advocating tabloids to children. Not saying tabloids aren't fun, but they aren't enriching.

Also, I think you really have to work on how you reply to people. I see your edit, but it just seems way more condescending than what you claim to have intended.

I know video games have a negative connotation when it comes with hobbies, but I feel they get unfairly treated as timewasters. Pick up a really deep and rich single player game like Mass Effect, Witcher, or God of War, and you can learn new things as well as experiencing amazing, novel-worthy stories. In fact, I wrote an English paper on Bioshock Infinite!

Now, this doesn't mean you should waste away thousands of hours on Call of Duty because that's not really productive, and is very much a timewaster.
