I've been using railway.app for over a year. They used to be free but made the hobby plan the cheapest now which is $5 USD/month. They are pay as you go and I have a node server, a postgres database, and a redis database and my usage normally comes to $2/month, and I won't be charged more than $5/month until my usage goes past that.

It can build a service based on a dockerfile in your repository and it was quite easy to set up. Let me know if you have any questions!

That's a great point with what people think they enjoy the most for runtime vs what they actually enjoy. Also ties in to the post earlier this week with surveys being dangerous. Particularly I think this point applies here:

And as I say again and again, and will never tire of repeating, never ask people what they like or don’t like. Liking is a reported mental state and that doesn’t necessarily correspond to any behavior.

I'll check out a few episodes of Adventure time to see if I enjoy it or not, I have been somewhat sceptical just from clips online but that is not giving it a fair shot.

Movies are great recommendations and I was thinking about watching Nimoa, will be sure to check it out!.

I'll also add Hazbin and Harley Quinn to the list, but probably won't get to Harly Quinn for a while as I don't have Max and I would want to finish Batman the animated series first so I at least have some background knowledge on Gotham City.

For Batman the animated series I'm not that into superhero media, but all I have really watched is most marvel films up to endgame along with a handful of spiderman, superman, and batman movies. I'm down to give it a shot! I found a recommended viewing list on reddit that cuts out the bad episodes, do you agree with this or I should just watch it all?

I know almost nothing about that universe, anything I should read or watch beforehand or can I go in blind?

A show I tried that was advertised as similar was Star vs. the Forces of Evil that was a little too in your face with a lol random personality that I don't really click with.

No restrictions on time period, and feel free to suggest anime if it fits the bill, I just posted in TV as I these aren't anime and I don't have much experience in the area.

I spent an hour on this today and it was great coming up with a design and then browsing through everyone else's.

The most creative I saw was one where they took in 3 different ball colors into a pinball area to be mixed up, and then sorted them using fans into the correct outputs, as apparently the different colors have different inertias.

Thanks for sharing! I switched to Plasma from Gnome in January with a new computer build and have been really enjoying it! I knew nothing about plasma development before this, but I had a quick scroll through https://invent.kde.org/plasma/breeze/-/merge_requests?scope=all&state=merged for fun. Working on 100 merge requests since starting in November is crazy! Some are just changing border width or small things like that, but you still need to hunt down and find the issue in the first place.

I also looked through a few of your recommended podcasts and will be listening to some Contributor and Coding Blocks. We both listen to CoRecursive and that is currently my favourite software dev podcast!

I've been really enjoying Astrea. Same concept as slay the spire, but you have a deck of dice instead of cards. There are safe dice with 6/6 sides being small consistent effects, balanced with 4/6 more powerful effects and 2/6 drawbacks, and risky dice with 2/6 strong effects and 4/6 drawbacks. However you sometimes want the drawback to deal damage to yourself and make yourself stronger. There are so many lines of play that it can be quite mentally taxing, but in a good way.
