Economically: On paper conservatism is about limiting the growth of government which is a good thing when we're talking about businesses and markets. IMO government should only intervene (legislate markets) when there is an unchecked imbalance that the markets will not correct.
However conservatism nowadays is about dismantling government regardless of whether the policies being dismantled are effective/positive or not. In today's rhetoric all government = bad which is tragically skewed from the original ideals of conservatism.
So TL;DR on economics: they could have solid governing principles to offer but the current trend of thought is cancerous at best.

Comment on Hello Tildestians. What are you working on to change in your life? in ~talk
FoxxMD Why do you think your relationship and drinking are so tightly bound? You seem to infer that you need to drink in order to spend time with her over Skype everyday. If she loves you as much as you...My life is incredibly boring but I don't know how to change it without breaking up with my girlfriend who loves me better than I've ever been loved. So I have a couple of drinks when I get home to be able to enjoy being in bed every day
The doctors I've seen don't want to prescribe anything, they think I should change my circumstances to improve my life. But then I'll lose the only person who has ever loved me for who I am.
Why do you think your relationship and drinking are so tightly bound?
You seem to infer that you need to drink in order to spend time with her over Skype everyday. If she loves you as much as you describe don't you think she would understand if you need to spend less time in bed talking and more time working on finding the things that make your life less boring -- and therefore -- less prone to drinking?

- Not liking specific apps?
- Not liking an optional assistant
- Not liking ui changes
To which there are easy solutions
- Use any number of alternatives from the play store or f-droid
- Don't use/turn off google assistant
- Use any number of customization apps to style android the way you like it (my phone for ex)
If you're issues actually revolved around privacy I can understand that. But if it's just "they don't care about AOSP anymore" I would argue that by making these apps "third-party" they are actually helping AOSP development since all of those apps no longer also have to be supported and updated with each new android iteration.

The lack of an isolated environment (car interior), slower speeds, and maneuverability of a bicycle (sidewalks, trails, back roads) means a rider can become much more aware of their surroundings and discover places/people they wouldn't have had the opportunity to in a car.
You're right I definitely enjoy drama farmed organically from subs like mfa, dnd, cooking, and any/all fansubs but it's just so rare compared to massive amount of content spawned from dramamills like T_D, CTH, etc. :(
When I'm jonsin I take what I can get. You can't cut me off cold turkey! I don't know what I'd do...
