Leer10 So why is it so difficult for there to be a professional system for this? Is it because the risks are high if it malfunctions? So why is it so difficult for there to be a professional system for this? Is it because the risks are high if it malfunctions?

Comment on WPA3: How and why the Wi-Fi standard matters in ~comp
Leer10 This is good, but I wonder how we're going to deal with the fact that so many devices can't just be "upgraded" to WPA3. Will most places just run two networks instead? This is good, but I wonder how we're going to deal with the fact that so many devices can't just be "upgraded" to WPA3. Leer10 I really like ST: TNG and ST: DS9 as well as Futurama too :) I like VOY the most but I can see why the characters can be annoying to other fans.I really like ST: TNG and ST: DS9 as well as Futurama too :)

Humans - British sci fi about artificial humans that do work for us both at the home and replacing our jobs. It airs on AMC on a delay but the season finale just aired on 4 in the UK. The earlier seasons should be viewable online. If you liked that, then there's the original Swedish show called Akta Manniskor.
Orphan Black - Another close-to-real scifi but this time it's about a woman who finds out that she is a clone of many people, and that there's an organization surrounding her existance and her kind is being killed off. The main character is stellar at pulling off all the different "clones" and a few episodes in you will forget they're all played by a single person. This one's canadian and viewable by Space in Canada and BBC America in the US. The show has completed its run and all seasons are available for streaming on Amazon Prime Video.
The Good Place - Very different from the previous show. Its by the same creator of Parks and Rec, so if you like that one you'll like this one. It's a comedy about this woman who finds herself in the afterlife called "The Good Place", where people who have done exceptional good deeds during their life go to when they die as opposed to "The Bad Place." The problem is that the system made a mistake and she's actually very morally broken. Lots of characters to love here, especially Janet. It's an NBC show so it's available on Hulu. It has two seasons finished and a third one is coming in September.

Stuff like the TV subs for example are something that I enjoy but there are also posts on there that I like that would be considered too low-quality like the trend of posting animal cosplays in The Handmaid's Tale subreddit. There's some mild posts like on r/amazonecho like posting videos of Alexa saying weird stuff that wouldn't seem to fit this crowd either.
There are also more niche subreddits like r/Esperanto that wouldn't have enough people to take off.
So for now I consider Tildes to be a supplement rather than a replacement.

On top of that I run the Neon PPAs because I really enjoy KDE. Since both are based on Ubuntu LTS, my setup works well.

Comment on ASL? Just kidding but seriously where are most of you Tildoes from? in ~talk
Yeah like honestly Matrix would be a good fit if we really needed a third party chat because it shares the same values and will even bridge with other services if need be. But still, I don't think that tildes really needs a third party discussion place just as how there isn't a subreddit for matrix: the service itself is the place where the discussion happens.
Edit: Also I wanna make it clear that I definitely feel your frustration. It irks me that discord is trying to own the monopoly of chat platforms.
