I thought beta-alanine would...Recently bought and tried a pre-workout and I'm questioning why I waited so long to do it. Truly a noticeable difference in energy, focus, strength, and mood even. I thought beta-alanine would give me tingles, but if I'm getting any I'm not feeling it.
Overall, I'm happy and look forward to training sessions even more now.

LeviathanEye Link ParentI played Morrowind years ago when I have no idea how to play it or what anything meant. I didn't really play the game just explored and stole stuff just had a blast. I've played more hours in...I played Morrowind years ago when I have no idea how to play it or what anything meant. I didn't really play the game just explored and stole stuff just had a blast. I've played more hours in Oblivion and Skyrim, but I've been attached to Morrowind lore specifically for so long. It's so unique and music has a special place in my heart.
I just started replaying a few weeks ago for the first time and while dated, I am having so much with it. I'm reading all the books and dialogue and really understanding the context. It's just great.
I will say that while I do have rose colored glasses, the dated looks don't really bother me. I never played Warband: Mount and blade in my youth, but man was the gameplay and mod community really great. I think there's something about that retro look and feel where games seems to really feel like something unique.
Anyway, end rant. Morrwind is great! Have have revisiting, Nerevarine!

LeviathanEye Link ParentHell yeah! I was going to make the same suggestions. Bolt Thrower is so good though. Memoriam(?) Is a kind of a continuation of them but Frozen Soul really hit their classic sound.Hell yeah! I was going to make the same suggestions.

LeviathanEye LinkMetal is such a broad genre but I sympathize with liking metalcore but not really being into what it has evolved into. That being said here are some recommendations: Blackbraid - black metal...Metal is such a broad genre but I sympathize with liking metalcore but not really being into what it has evolved into.
That being said here are some recommendations:
Blackbraid - black metal
Kanonenfieber - black metal
Gatecreeper - death meath (recent release is more melodic death)
Blood incantation - proggy tech death type
Tomb Mold - prog death
Cattle decapitation - Grindcore type that"s been around a while but their last two albums might be appealing.Cheers!

In my opinion they're mostly soapy space operas so fun to read and a good way to familiarize yourself with lore, but nothing ground breaking. Some are...I've read a handful but I enjoyed them. Some are better than others but I'd definitely recommend anything from Dan Abnett or ADB. I particularity enjoyed Legion.

I've actually subscribed to a couple of communities on Facebook just to get a fix, but it's not the same.
I've read several of the Horus Heresy books but I've never been sure where to start with 40k.

I haven't take invested in the too many videos or diaries about it so I'm just kind of getting some of the feature updates and...I've been following this for some time and I'm excited for it. That being said, I think I'm really just craving that nostalgia burst while hoping that it's a new rewarding experience.

LeviathanEye Link ParentThis is exactly what I was going to comment. While it never really was pretty on the eyes the mechanics and gameplay are so engrossing and satisfying IMO. I'll admit that I have more time in mods...This is exactly what I was going to comment. While it never really was pretty on the eyes the mechanics and gameplay are so engrossing and satisfying IMO.
I'll admit that I have more time in mods than the base game but that's because they add a setting with a great background, some unique companions and other features that expand on the base game.

LeviathanEye Link ParentShogun 2 is a great place to start IMO! Easy to get into and considered the most balanced and optimized game. It's a good starting point for total war in general. For Warhammer, I'd recommend getting Warhammer 2 and 1 when they're on Sale. That way you can you get the Old World DLC which combines both games. There's a ton of content to play and lots of dlc to pick up when there's a sale.

I'd recommend Warhammer 2 and Warhammer 1 when they go on sale that way you can do mortal empire which is regarded as pretty well optimized IMO. It is...I would! I've had so much fun with them. It is different from non-fantasy Total War games in a another of ways but leading a Waagghhh with Grimgor is so much fun!
I played Rome years ago. I think you might be referring to Rome II which was poorly optimized at launch and super buggy. I tried it after some patches and it okay. I tried it again a few months ago and I could not get into it at all. If your looking for a great total war game in a non-fantasy setting then it's recommend Shogun II. It might be a bit dated, but it is a true total war experience.

LeviathanEye Link ParentMy Favorite isn't actually set in the 40k universe, but in the Old World Fantasy setting. The Total war: Warhammer series is really awesome and has consumed a lot of my time. The other 40k games I like are their other Xcom-esque squad turn based games like Mechanicus and Chaos Gate. Boltgun has been on my radar and the there's another Rogue Trader game that is far along in development in excited about.

LeviathanEye LinkI'm excited and thankful to have an invitation here too. I wasn't anywhere near as active or as involved with reddit as you were but I have been on the site for over a decade. Needless to say it...I'm excited and thankful to have an invitation here too. I wasn't anywhere near as active or as involved with reddit as you were but I have been on the site for over a decade. Needless to say it had a big influence on me and there is a big sense of loss as I transition into Tildes and other platforms, but I'm excited and it feels refreshing here on Tildes.
I hope things do grow and I find or maybe make new communities to keep up with hobbies and politics. Thanks all!
Thumbs for the anti-fash principles! It is so insidious when a band doesn't openly express position so it kind feels like you're being too judgy/gatrkeeping in the genre.
R/rabm was a good resource for filtering the trash out from my selections but I haven't used reddit in some time. I'll check out you blogs too!
