I met an actual girl my age playing and I'd race home from school to get on the computer before my brother could to hang out with her on msn. I wish I had access to the old Hotmail account we used because her mom walked me through how to upload and attach a picture to an email. Looking back I think it was to determine I wasn't some old creep, after that we'd voice chat and talk about having an in-game wedding.

I had to set boundaries, I dont let myself play it during the weekdays but go heavy come Friday. The first time I was given a castle I was so stoked. I would walk the walls, build up the garrison, find the perfect governor, make sure my people were happy.
I can see the late game not being as fulfilling because now I'm this god with a battle axe chopping down vlandians and imperials without difficulty but those early levels are incredible. I also got voted to be the leader of the northern empire but it felt super abrupt, I didn't even know lucon died. So I'm going to finish this campaign and rebuild the empire and then I think I want to start a new campaign and focus on being a charming infantry commander or maybe stack the battian bowmen.
Anyway. That's it, anyone else try bannerlord? I've not tried the multiplayer but if anyone is down I'd love to try it

I make mine like basically a giant meatball with a mix of beef and minced pork fat from bacon slices. Add some bread crumbs, an egg or two plus some spices. I like cumin and a lil nutmeg plus something spicy like cayenne.

https://imgbox.com/xZyBmFGwI've been making grilled chicken thighs. I tend to single out one food item and cook it everyday for weeks and then move on when something else catches my heart, but I always come back to chicken thighs.
These start out trimmed and seasoned with salt, msg, and a dry rub from a famous BBQ place in my city. They go on the grill skin side up over indirect heat until about 140f. Then they get a real thinn layer of a sweeter BBQ sauce, cook for another 5 or 10 min, flip them skin side down over direct heat just long enough to quickly apply BBQ sauce to the bottom, flip back over immediately. Cook until the bottom sauce caramelizes a bit. Finish over indirect heat until 175\180. It may seem high but thighs taken out at the recommended safe temp of 165 are super chewy imo.
Does anyone think my tops are getting too much char? I personally like it this way but have never made them for other people

Monso I've had this issue on my s22 a few times. I hit the charge port with a hair dryer on med-low for a minute or two and that usually lets me plug it in for the night.I've had this issue on my s22 a few times. Half-Baked was the one section devoted to being silly, and I spent a LOT of time here. It was mostly all text based humor and crude in-jokes created by the people who liked to hangout there. You would get to know these people, their sense of humor and you could play with them in a way I haven't been able to experience since, and I miss it. I miss being silly with strangers for the love of the game. It was text based improv and the medium allowed you to take your time to think of something clever, or how to add to the story.
Granted, there was plenty of low effort jokes too, none of which has a place here. But the good stuff was incredibly impressive. I'm brand new here so I don't want to be the guy who comes into the party and immediately takes control of the music. If something like what I remember was allowed to happen here at Tildes, I would be beyond thrilled. I also completely understand that this might not be the place for it as well.

Portrait of a Lady on Fire is to me the best movie I've ever seen.
I had no idea what it was going in, added it to my plex server on a whim and it left me crying in my apartment for a long time after finishing it. I still think of one scene in particular. I'll be out driving my forklift and that scene will come into my mind and make me emotional. I want to try and think of something else to say to persuade people to watch this movie but I really hope yall give it a chance.
