i found it superior to novamin in regard to tooth sensitivity, and it also has the bonus side effect of leaving tooth surfaces almost teflon-slick, which i like. based on the papers i was able to find, research suggests that 10% rod-shaped NHA toothpaste is superior when combined with flouride, and stannous flouride is superior to the older sodium flouride in every regard.

Many consider the Souls series to be the pinnacle of combat in video games, yet this is a fresh new take that looks even better to my eyes.
Even though I've only seen a small bit of gameplay, I'm convinced Sekiro is going to be their best game yet. I can't wait.

Proton is advancing far faster than I thought it would, and the community has been doing amazing work in the wiki.
On PC gaming in general, I like the fact that Vulkan adoption is picking up, and the Vulkan for Metal wrapper should help see it become the leader in close-to-hardware APIs. I don't care at all about AAA games moving to their own shitty stores, because I don't play many of them. Indie and medium-sized studios are the future, and Asian game publishers are almost exclusively putting their games on Steam, with many of them being excellent. Overall I'm really looking forward to seeing what the next 5 years bring to PC hardware and Linux gaming. -

While it can be a bit cheesy and has a lot of now-common manga tropes, the underlying story is seriously good. It does a really good job at portraying the Japanese civilians as normal people who's lives were ruined by war in ways Americans couldn't even dream of.
I wish my classmates were forced to read this back in high school because we had multiple mock debates where most kids defended the nuclear bombings as ethical using examples like "well the Japanese were being trained to fight the American troops with sharp bamboo sticks, even women and children." This example was technically true and portrayed in the manga, but once you realize they were desperately waiting for the war to end and only trained to save face it's truly sobering how easy it is to dehumanize people. On a lighter note, I've also been watching Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-kun, and I like it so far. It has a lot of funny moments involving the supporting characters and it's pretty interesting to see all the steps that go into making manga. I just wish it had actual romance, because there's essentially zero.

I keep my phones for 3 or 4 years so I really try to future proof when looking at replacements. I did type on one and almost bought it though, wonderful build quality.

I think it's a show that'll exceed most people's expectations by virtue of being so long and progressing at an even pace. It's still a shounen and has some of the associated tropes, but it really delivers something special that will probably draw in whoever's watching it into the medium. Every new anime watcher who I've shown it to loved it.

Comment on The secrets of cooking rice — the cause of recipe failure is not what you might think in ~food
Plattypus Aren't expensive rice cookers basically pressure cookers as well? They just use special logic specific for rice. I've also found that my Instant Pot makes far, far better rice than my $60 rice cooker.Aren't expensive rice cookers basically pressure cookers as well? They just use special logic specific for rice.

yes Apagard is flouride-free, and while my tap water is fluorinated (i can't stand the taste) stannous flouride toothpaste is still superior since it is at a much higher concentration and in a more effective form (and it remains active at the gumline for hours if you brush properly).
i used Apagard Premio at first due to price, but the tube Royal comes in is bigger, and it lasts me months, so the cost isn't too bad even though i am low-income. i buy it on Amazon (ships from Japan) for about $37.
