Then why not buy it and shut it down?

Because he's an idiot. I agree with the OP here. Elon Musk is a very stupid but very rich man. The amount of money Elon has sort of acts like gravity, in that it's so big it can only amass more money. But Elon was never a rags to riches guy; his parents were very rich with the kind of money that even idiot sons can look successful.

This is going to lead to even more Karma farming and power users like Digg used to have (anyone remember Mr Babyman?). It's a terrible idea and will probably be implemented in the worst possible way.

I use Evernote. Been using it for years now. Recently though, it's become a pain in the ass (since the ver 10 update). Also, the price has gone up to £8.99 per month now. Back when I started using Evernote, it was just £3.99 a month.

The thing is, I've tried so many alternatives over the years, but nothing organises my stuff and displays it the way Evernote does.

I think I have actually. I was born in Scotland and lived there until I was 18. We moved about quite a bit when I was growing up, but mostly lived in the Highlands. I've been as far north as Thurso on the mainland and I've been to Orkney and the Hebrides (Isle of Lewis & Harris). And when I was about 17, we went on a camping trip to Cornwall and spent a day in Land's End.

When I was 18 we moved to North Wales (my dad got a job there). We've lived there for about 20 odd years now. My dad has relatives in the Midlands, so we've been all around there over the years. I've visited Edinburgh, Glasgow, London, Liverpool, Manchester and countless other places.

So yeah, I guess I've seen quite a lot of the UK in my time.

I've never attended a protest. They're a waste of time; the politicians don't listen, and the police use them as an excuse to beat people up.

I'm old enough to remember when we were promised that more technology in the workplace would free us from having to work so hard. That turned out to be a lie. Instead, our employers got greedy and demanded ever increasing profits and ever decreasing costs. Modern workers are slaves, given just enough wages to exist and entertain themselves so they can continue to make profits for the rich, until they are too old to be useful and die in debt. We have created an appalling existence for ourselves.

I've been playing Doom Eternal on Stadia. My laptop is just shy of the minimum specs requirements for DE and the free giveaway for Stadia was just the ticket I needed. Stadia is actually pretty good. I've been playing on Chrome (haven't bought a Stadia controller yet) and I've been pleasantly surprised. The only real issue with Stadia right now is that there's really not many games out for it.

I can't really put in to words how devastating this is.

I'm quite depressed about it. The Tories have enough of a majority to do everything their evil hearts desire. My constituency (Aberconwy, Wales) was quite vocal about how much they hated our previous MP (Tory, Guto Bebb). But, they've voted in another Tory (Bebb decided not to stand again). Wales benefits hugely from EU funding, which is going to disappear when we leave the EU. And I doubt Westminster will fill that funding gap.

The only winner in this election was xenophobia.
