Yes! Seems to me if you position even just one of these outside every 100,000+ city in the state, we'd never really need to worry about the grid blacking out on us.

    New:

    • Diapers ( if you can afford it, buy in bulk; you can find calculators online for how many you'll need of each size, so you can pre buy with registry completion coupons)
    • Car seats (never buy used)
    • Pacifiers that are appropriate age/size
    • Bottles, probably just to be extra safe unless you know who is giving it to you

    Used:
*Clothes! They grow fast and if you can get hand me downs or second hand clothes you'll save yourself so much.
    *Toys
    *Books (board books first)
    *Utensils
*Sleep sacks. Basically a wearable blanket for after they outgrow swaddles
*Furniture. Cribs so long as they're sturdy, similar if you need a bassinet. Changing table/wardrobe.

We're on our third and had so much available but have also filled in the gaps largely through family, friends, and also our local buy nothing group on Facebook.

ERCOT really doesn't seem like it's moving quickly to shore up energy concerns, but this legitimately feels like a good plan. It sounds like a combination of solar energy plus battery deployment is going to help give time and space for emergency generators to get online and running.

Hopefully as more folks install rooftop solar answer start to see the need on the grid lessen, even if marginally over time, grid instability will shore up.

To me the biggest challenge will be as lignite and coal plants start to age out. It's just not profitable in the current marketplace to replace old dirty energy, but I worry that renewable capacity won't have offset these sources in time. Would love to see some additional nuclear get built but that's always so fraught.

    NINE TO THREE?!?!

I had to stop watching after the second period because I was just gutted for the Panthers. As a Stars fan that got absolutely smashed by Vegas in our last game with them, honestly expected them to handily take this thing.

And this is amazing for Stone. Getting a hat trick while leading your team to a franchise first cup win? Chef's kiss.

I've played only the demo of Tera Nil but I've watched Day9's YouTube vids of his playthrough. It's much less like Before We Leave. It's almost like individual puzzle levels where you have a budget of resources to achieve certain metrics of regreening that specific map, instead of Before We Leave being more like an environmentally minded 4X.

    Spot on, I think.

And with the roll off and expiration of special covid forbearances, the end of the student loan pause, a rising rate environment making loan refinance and modifications more difficult to afford, I imagine we'll see a ride in foreclosures that helps the supply issue.

This improvement is being driven almost entirely by food and energy, as the core cpi actually continues to increase. Overall the picture is improving, it'll be interesting to see if it stems the Fed from further rate increases or if the core cpi increase reaffirms the need for continued low rate increases.
