As a bi nerd that loves drag and tabletop RPGs, I feel like this is going to be so much fun. Hopefully this post is ok here!

And for Dimension 20, check out their older seasons too. A Court of Fey & Flowers, Fantasy High, and Escape from the Bloodkeep were all a lot of fun.

Oh yeah, watching the freely-available Game Changer episodes has been very tempting. I also recently listened to a great podcast between Sam Reich and Dave Wiskus (CEO of Nebula) discussing the differences and similarities between their platforms. This also made Dropout stick around in my noggin lately. I think I'm going to bite the bullet soon... but maybe when I can commit a few hours to going down a binge rabbit hole to catch up on all that sweet, sweet CollegeHumor I've been missing out on.

I will say, that Dropout is the most watched streaming service in my house. All of the shows are basically appointment TV for me and my partner, and at $5 a month it’s easily the best value I have.

I just recently listened to the podcast too. Their views are very interesting as I'm also a creative and of the same age, but of course nowhere as successful as they both are.

It was interesting to be able to pick their brain and the way they view creative work and the reality of running a business makes sense to me.

It has the opposite effect on me though. I'm not subscribed to Nebula, but now I'm really considering it.

You won't regret it, my wife and I gobble up Game Changer and Make Some Noise as soon as they're available.

I'm not super familiar with Brennan Lee Mulligan, but it looks like he's having an absolute blast! I might have to add this to my life alongside Critical Role.

      https://youtu.be/REnc_wXkHnc

A Crown of Candy is Game of Thrones meets Candyland.

      https://youtu.be/7GTogwQVmYE

Neverafter is deep horror based on classic fairy tales

      https://youtu.be/hMNzZiN0-P0

A Court of Fey and Flowers is regency era Fairy bullshit. Brennan is a player in this one, and a delight to watch.

      https://youtu.be/C1VffF1Z5-Y

Misfits and Magic is if four American teenagers were sent to Hogwarts and called out the ridiculousness of it.

      https://youtu.be/2Kktwa0kqaU

The Unsleeping City is an NYC based urban fantasy.

There are more, this is just a selection of my favorites.

Edit: I want to add that my favorite aspect of D20 is that the seasons are manageable (being maximum of 20 or so episodes) so it doesn’t feel like an insurmountable challenge like CR does.

If anyone needs some recs on where to start, my personal favorites are ACoFaF and Misfits & Magic. Neverafter is a close second.

I'm beyond excited for this. I'm hoping it gets more eyes on Dropout, because they deserve it.

Brennan in make up looks like he's channeling Galatax once more. I'm into it.
