Guacamelee 1 & 2 are currently free on Epic. Can be played without the Epic launcher running. Fun games worth downloading.

Not just memes, but the endless screenshots of twitter/youtube/reddit/tumbr comments. And reposts of those screenshots with some extra meme text added. I do not miss that aspect of reddit at all.

Merlin. Bird identification. It's pretty well known in the birding community, but I've never really been a bird watcher and only recently learned about the app... and I'm kind of becoming a bird watcher. It lets you ID birds by sound, photographs, or by selecting up to three colors. Even just sitting by an open window in my dining room and letting it listen to the various birds is interesting and informative. And it's completely free.

I did, but I think having seen the first movie and knowing what was coming made it a bit easier to get into.

I also just reread the Void Trilogy by Peter F. Hamilton. They're not the greatest books ever written, but it's a fun sci fi series I enjoy rereading every few years. Start with the Commonwealth Saga if you want to get into the series.

I just wrapped up Immortals: Fenyx Rising, a game I had completely ignored based on its name alone. Before I saw it free on PS+, I had no idea it was an open world Ubisoft game influenced by botw. I ended up loving it. I enjoyed the combat a lot more than I did botw's, and all of the upgrades/armor stats/weapon stats allow for some fun builds.

Also, rain doesn't impede climbing, and no weapon durability. I like that it has a bit more story focus than botw and the Zeus/Prometheus narration injects some comedy from time to time.

I've also been dabbling in Ace Combat 7. It's my first Ace Combat game. I'm kind of a plane nerd, so I'm having fun grinding money to unlock more planes to fool around with. The multiplayer seems fun, and while I don't score the most kills, I don't feel completely helpless with minimal unlocks.

Last, but not least Darksiders: Genesis. I like the Darksiders games. I like this one, even with the isometric camera. Strife is fun with his ranged attacks, and you can instantly switch to War whenever you want for melee attacks. It's my first time playing an ARPG with a controller and I'm surprised how well it works. I do wish I had some control over the camera, though.

I'm new as well, but I think the fact that it's still invite only is going to keep it relatively small. I had been waiting for it to open up to the public (until today) because I had no idea that invites were so easy to get (asked for one in the r/tildes reddit thread and had an invite a couple hours later)
