I've been using an Orbit two outlet timer for the last five years or so and don't have any complaints. Currently on my second as the first one cracked after three years of summer use. I store the timer inside during the winter, but leave the rest of the setup outside and haven't had any major issues or had to replace any tubing.

General ham here. I don't work too often outside of some FT8 and phone contests. Been trying to learn CW, but it's been an uphill battle because I lack the self discipline to practice every day.

My setup is FT-891, AT-100ProII tuner, and using a Singalink for digital modes. I live in a condo with antenna restrictions so I've got a 20m homebrew dipole and 40 hamsitck dipole in the attic for working from my home QTH. For working portable I've got an Alpha Antenna magloop, SotaBeams Bandhopper 2 dipole, MFJ -1910 fiberglass mast, Bioenno 12v 12Ah LiFePO4 battery, and Bioenno 28 watt foldable solar panel (with a 12V/24V, 20A charge controller) for charging in the field.

I upgraded to general last October and 2018 Winter Field Day was probably my most memorable experience to date. I found out about it only days before hand and it was my first chance to work when the bands were really busy and folks weren't looking for long ragchews (which I'm terrible with).

Likewise for the fitbit ionic. It's undoubtedly a fitbit, but I think the overall functionality, watch faces, and apps get it edged a bit closer to smart watch territory.

Thanks for the recommendation! I checked it out today and being able to share with a 'company' looks like it may work for the limited sharing I need. This may be what I end up running with.

I use Lastpass at work but don't have experience with any others. Last time I looked into it Lastpass and Keepass were the only two viable options if I recall (though my memory isn't the most reliable thing). A few quick searches seem to indicate that the market has opened up a bit since then. I'd like to use something open source with Linux, Windows, and Android clients. So, what's your preferred password manager and why?

I upgraded my ham radio license last October and, after a decade of having it, finally started playing around on the air. In the four or five months I've made over 300 contacts across 37 countries using various modes of HF radio. I'm currently trying to learn morse code to help minimize the amount of gear that I have to take on portable operation. It's been testing my patience, which I generally don't handle well, but it's been mostly fun so far.
