No way in hell Kim Jong-Un gives up the nukes that were the dream of his father and grandfather. Especially after being reminded by Bolton of what happened to Gaddafi after he gave up his nukes. He wants the US out of the Korean peninsula, Trump wants the optics of declaring peace in the Korean peninsula and an end to the Korean war so that's what will happen.

I would love for meat-alternatives to become mainstream so that I don't have to feel like I'm missing out when I see my friends eating meat. I would easily spend more money on a meat-alternative if it actually tastes like meat.

That future politicians won't get a pass on these things because Trump is getting away with them. It would be a really dire implication for society. (Granted this story is less about Trump than the chairman for much of his political campaign)
The fatigue is very real and possibly intentional. The way you beat movements to change the entrenched system is through a war of attrition. You, as someone with power, can afford it - they cannot.

I think you could use a different word than "ocean of blood" though, because it's hard to kneel into an ocean - you'd sink. And I'm a little confused at the end with the glow of "yellow and green and blue". I can get yellow from the lights, and blue from the cop cars, but I'm confused by the green.
Enjoyable read though, thanks for sharing.

It's got unique characters that come to life with great dialogue. Every minute of it is just so fun to watch.

Hanbyul Choi and colleagues (2018), of the Ulsan National Institute of Science and Technology (Korea), propose that after years and years of hearing about threats to people’s security of public self-disclosures, it’s easy to experience what they call “privacy fatigue.” Relating more to Internet use than those public displays of personal information in real-life settings, Choi et al. define this phenomenon as “a sense of weariness toward privacy issues, in which individuals believe that there is no effective means of managing their personal information on the Internet” (p. 42). Although people vary in their degree of privacy fatigue, the Korean authors believe that we’re all getting a little sick and tired of having to draw a boundary around personal information for the sake of protection from online or real-life threats by others wishing to do harm.
I personally end up just not using websites where I have to be worried too much about privacy. But there are things like WhatsApp and just using a cell phone that I end up just biting the bullet on because I don't want to feel left out of connecting with other people. Most of my friends have given up on the idea of privacy at this point.

If the court had overlooked the committee's lack of religious impartiality, it would make me worried about the impartiality of the court as well.
I have to admit though, even though I lean left, I don't like the idea of the baker being compelled to do something even if it's discriminatory. I have a problem with LGBT people not being able to buy candy from a candy shop, but if a plumber doesn't want to fix a gay couple's toilet then I feel that's his prerogative. But both are a form of business that everyone should have access to. I don't know how to reconcile that cognitive dissonance.

"Although Phillips prevailed today, the opinion by Justice Anthony Kennedy rested largely on the majority’s conclusion that the Colorado administrative agency that ruled against Phillips treated him unfairly by being too hostile to his sincere religious beliefs. The court seemed to leave open the possibility that a different outcome could result in a future case, and it did not rule at all one of the central arguments in the case – whether compelling Phillips to bake a cake for a same-sex couple would violate his right to freedom of speech."

My level 1 character was trying to solo a kobold, but kept tripping and falling and just looking like a total fool. This prompted the kobold to laugh and hoot and pantomime at my expense. So upon defeating his friends, I decided since he wanted to put on a minstrel show, I'd take him prisoner to be entertainment. Eventually, my party decided to capture some kobolds themselves and we're currently negotiating with the governor of the local town to establish a kobold circus.

Interesting twitter post. It seems like the organizers tend to bring violence with their organizing.
