I've been entertained, and that's all that really matters for me.
I'll have to figure out how to do that spoilers thing before I comment further.
@GenuinelyCrooked, I've made my comments below.Spoilers
Disclaimer: I have zero knowledge of the books and comics (Expanded Universe/Legends or recent stuff)I also love that there are other Force users! To me it seems like different religions that all believe in some deity...in this case they all believe in some connection between all living beings. Some call it the Force, some call it the Thread. But at the end of the day it's the same thing.
I agree that the Witches did nothing wrong. They were practicing their way of life in peace. Mother Koril may have been pushy, but Mother Aniseya was very open. Both Mae and Osha, despite living in a very secluded place, knew of the Jedi. Mother Aniseya also allowed both twins to be tested, and told Osha she was free to make her own choice.
The Jedi focus on the Light, and the Sith on the Dark. We don't know if the Witches focus on either side....or both. To say that what Mother Koril did with Torbin automatically makes the Witches the bad guys is due to the lens of what we've seen before...from the perspective of the Jedi....Jedi-centrism?
Onto Qimir (Darth Bortles). He is one of the most refreshing characters I've seen since Ahsoka. His fighting style is so savage and unconventional. Is his use of the Force deadly or creative...maybe deadly creative? I like that we got an explanation about his helmet, and that it makes him rely solely on the Force. To me, that means his connection to it is much stronger than most Jedi. He dislikes the Jedi because they control how he (and others) can use the Force. Parallels with how some religions have proper ways to worship, and other ways aren't accepted/acceptable.
For me, the best thing about The Acolyte is how portrays the Jedi as being fallible. I know some people may not like this, but I feel like it makes them more relatable. Nobody is perfect, and despite our best efforts we will make mistakes. It's so much more interesting than watching a story about characters who are all good or all bad.
Finally, Master Vernestra has a PURPLE lightsaber and she can turn it into a whip!!

That said, this particular Sith's fighting style is such a breath of fresh air for me. They're so aggressive! The creative use of lightsaber and Force powers is pretty satisfying to watch. An analogy that may or may be understood...most of the Jedi fight like Siegfried, this Sith fights like Nightmare from Soul Caliber 3.
I don't think your views are wrong, nor my views right. I think perhaps The Acolyte isn't for you and that's okay. I watched the first season of Game of Thrones and it wasn't for me, so that's why I don't watch House of the Dragon.

As much hate as the "Ubisoft" formula gets online, there's a very addictive, rewarding, and easy gameplay loop. I finished Watch Dogs Legions and Far Cry 6 this way. I am usually able to play the game in 30-60 minute bursts. In this time, I can do a mission (or more) and level up. Each time there's some sense of accomplishment. It's easy because most things are already marked on the map. The formula is just fun. I don't have to think much to have fun.
FYI, this reminds me that I should play Amalur again. Awesome game!

For anyone reading and doesn't know what Libby is. It's an app that let's you check out ebook and audio books from your library. I generally check out audio books, so it made sense to put Libby in the "Audio" folder. But some titles are either only available as ebooks, which now means it makes more sense in my "Reading" folder.

Icons on bottom and on the right hand side as far as my thumb can reach. Folders/icons that are most used are in the bottom right hand side. They get fanned out as their usage decreases.
My "dock" has text, Gmail, app drawer, gallery, and camera. My "home" page is everything I use daily. My "left" page is navigation, entertainment, and shopping. My "right page" is 80% calendar widget (the only one), Google Keep, calculator, Google Drive, and Google Translate. I don't believe I have any duplicate icons except for Libby. I have it inside folders for both "Audio" and "Reading".
I used to have more pages that adhered more strictly to certain usage, but I trimmed it down to just 3 now. I realized over time that speed is more important. However, having everything on a single page would feel too cluttered and a bit awkward with just one hand.
I'm not sure how to post pictures on Tildes, but I don't mind sharing what my screens look like.

It's an unnecessary product...for you. I'll repeat what I said elsewhere.
There is a non-zero number of people who will never watch anything animated because they just don't want to. That's honestly the demographic these live action adaptation of animated shows/movies are targeting.
That said, you're entitled to your opinions. I don't think they're wildly out of line or anything.

Long answer: same as above but with more detail. As blasphemous as this may sound, the movie isn't the worst thing I've seen. There's only so much they could do in adapting the first season into a short movie. They took a much more realistic approach to the wardrobe/costuming. That is, it looked more like clothing people would wear and less faithful to the original animation. The Netflix show is way more faithful in this regard. It's more vibrant than the movie, but doesn't seem comical at least to me. Movie Aang's Airbender tattoo is pretty intricate, and the Netflix show blends both the original animation's solid arrows with the movie's intricate designs. I really appreciated this design choice.
The special effects aren't as good, but that's mostly to be expected given how much time has passed. Fans of the original animation will also notice some odd/major changes to some of the benders and their abilities. Specifically, the Firebenders. In the movie, they cannot create their own fire. They need a source and they control it. The Earthbenders seemed way less adept at using their powers in the movie, while the first episode of the Netflix show really showcases them. They're pretty badass, and I cannot wait to see Toph next season.
The casting is really weird/bad in the movie. Obviously there's a bunch of whitewashing (Aang, Katara, and Sokka), but they also made the Firebenders Indian (South Asian) without changing their names to reflect it better. There's also how they pronounced a few people's names differently from. The Netflix show mostly does cast the roles with people who look the part more, although I'm not convinced they fit the part more...specifically Katara. Mai and Ty Lee haven't had as much screen time for me to be sure about. The rest of the casting is pretty good and is better than the movie.
I will end with one thing that the movie does much better than the Netflix show...Princess Yue's hair LOL

I watched the original years years ago, and only once so far. I don't have any super strong attachments to it, so I'm far less critical. On its own merits without being compared to the original, it's pretty good. My family and friends who know nothing about it enjoyed it a lot.
My criticisms are as follows. It feels too condensed, which isn't difficult to predict. They took 20 episodes and made it only 8. This doesn't give it enough room for the characters to breathe despite the actual runtimes being not too far off. Some of the story does feel off, but not greatly so. It mostly keeps the same general vibe to me. And if it didn't, then I didn't remember it which means a complete newcomer wouldn't pick up on it anyway.
The general response of "go watch the original" isn't very helpful. There is a non-zero number of people who will never watch anything animated because they just don't want to. That's honestly the demographic these live action adaptation of animated shows/movies are targeting. I guess that's why my score is higher?

It's already been suggested but if your real reason is to travel light, then a Bluetooth keyboard + phone/tablet is the probably the best compromise while still keeping your work and personal fully separated. But that's me. I never want to mingle work with personal. While the risk is low (I've read your post above and it seems like you're good to go), it's never zero.
I hope it works out for you, as those much smarter than me have given fantastic suggestions!

What is my point? OP could save all the time and hassle of setting up a more elaborate solution that still ultimately compromises their separation of work and personal. I just don't want them to waste their time. I promise that I only have good intentions, and not merely trying to be argumentative.

I read “separation of work and personal needs on one computer” is their solution to the problem, but that's okay that we have different interpretations of it.
The reason for the restriction matters because it might not be real. Like DrStone mentioned, it could be a misunderstanding. It's also presumptuous to assume that they did attempt or consider multiple devices. This is a random internet person that most of us don't personally know. We can't make any assumptions either way. That's why we're asking for clarity.

There's lots of solutions to their problem (separating work and personal computing needs), but they're arbitrarily limiting the solution because they haven't explained why there's a restriction. Is it purely due to size/weight? In which case a portable Bluetooth keyboard and their phone would be a decent solution as well.
If someone is asking for help, then in order to fully help them I would want to know all the details. If you go to the doctor and just say "I just need to make my stomach stop hurting", then you are skipping all possible diagnosis if you don't give them more details. You're treating the symptom and not the cause.
Is it their business? Yes, but they also posted the question on a public forum so it's not that private.
Thanks! I appreciate all the help @GenuinelyCrooked and @cfabbro . I'll make the edit to my post now.
