    I'm a big fan of Bill Burr's Monday Morning Podcast. It's basically just him sitting there and rambling for an hour, and is usually pretty funny. Not for everyone though, he basically has no filter.

    I know this post is a little old, but I'd like to voice my thoughts on tags. Personally, I don't see the point of having comment tags at all. Tildes is supposed to be about discussion, and to me, tags just defeat discussion. It's basically a marker that says, "I've already read this comment, and it can be summed up in these tags. No need for you to read it yourself!"

    Especially with tags like "noise" and "flame" it just encourages users to ignore whatever was posted and move onto the next comment, which I feel goes directly against the goal of this site. Tagging things as noise or flame doesn't make the comment go away either, like with downvotes on Reddit. If anything, it just brings more attention to the comment with a big red bar at the top.

    I think this would be a much better idea! It would solve the problem of people accidentally using markdown when they don't mean to, but still have features available if needed.

    If Tildes does add markdown, I hope they don't do it the same as Reddit. All too often I see people unable to make a line break or accidentally starting a new list on Reddit. The only markdown...

The only markdown that's really needed in my opinion is bold, italics, superscript, and strikethrough. Anything else is unnecessary and only causes formatting issues.

    I definitely agree on the second point. I used to play Overwatch a lot and had to stop because it just made me too salty.

    I thought Last Jedi was okay. There were some scenes I despised (Leia doing the superman through space back to the ship) and I thought the "pogs" or whatever they were were annoying and a...

    I thought Last Jedi was okay. There were some scenes I despised (Leia doing the superman through space back to the ship) and I thought the "pogs" or whatever they were were annoying and a merchandising gimmick. But I think the movie overall wasn't terrible. At least it was original and not just a reboot of Episode IV like Force Awakens was.
