I live in Korea and all the news outlets seem to only talk about how we'll be doomed if we don't have more babies... but what if it's actually better to reduce our population a bit. Having a lower supply of labor would make us more valuable and be able to command a higher wage. Also, I'm pretty sure that as Koreans we have the ability to automate a lot of basic things so humans can focus on other things. And funnily enough, I think that by having less babies and increasing our own standard of living, we would actually end having babies since the result of lower supply of labor = higher wages would mean that we would be comfortable financially enough to support children.
In my opinion, rich corporations are definitely influencing the media since they want to lower capital costs and continue their ever increasing profits.

Pros:
- Extremely good public transit. You don't really need a car here as the train and buses will take you everywhere pretty quickly. The system is really easy to learn, cheap, clean, and most importantly ON TIME. I remember how in NYC the train schedule was mostly a suggestion lol.
- Very safe country/city. You can literally leave your cellphone/laptop in a cafe unattended and it will be there a couple hours later.
- Truly a city that never sleeps. I was so disappointed in NYC when the vast majority of places closed after 2~3 AM. I thought it was supposed to be "the city that never sleeps", but that turned out to be false. In Seoul, we say "let's party until the 1st car" which is referring to the 1st available train at 5~6 am. So basically stay out partying, drinking, eating until 6 am and then finally go home.
- Lots of hiking. When people think of Seoul/Korea, they mostly will think of the nightlife/tech. What they will forget to tell you is that there's a lot of hiking trails readily available.
- Lots of cafes for you to choose from to get your iced americano.
- The Han river. You can order food and drink alcohol next to it!
- Even before UberEats/grubhub/Doordash was a thing in the US, Seoul/Korea already had a robust delivery system. As mentioned above, you could get any type of food delivered to the Han river or anywhere you would like really.
- The fried chicken. Korean fried chicken is really next level and with so many chains and mom and pop shops around, they are always experimenting and coming out with new flavors. If you haven't tried Korean fried chicken please do yourself a favor and try some. Don't forget to get it with a Korean beer as it is how we like to eat it!
- Healthcare (treatment and medicine) is cheap and readily available. Just search on Google for some examples and get ready to get shocked at how cheap it is compared to the US.
Cons
- The garlic bread. I swear to god that thing infuriates me with how sweet it is. Koreans usually eat bread as a dessert rather than something to be eaten with the main meal, so bread is usually sweet. Actually, a lot of things will be sweeter compared to it's western counter parts.

However, that doesn't excuse his behavior and responses during the AMA he had shortly after. The way he chose to conduct himself and try to dirty another person's name is just unacceptable.
Moreover, I think a lot of people are tired of being squeezed out of every single cent they have. Idk about others, but I'd be more than happy to pay and support something I like if it was reasonably priced. However, if the person/company is coming at me with the intent of trying to take as much money as possible from me whilst offering a product they purposely made worse, then they can forget about getting a single cent from me.

Tbh tho their charge cards basically function as a credit card so i don't know why they even bother with the different terminology lol. Back when I had the gold, I thought I would have 'unlimited' credit as that's how they advertised their charge cards. Imagine my surprise when I found out that their charge cards also come with credit limits except they call them something else lol.

For example, a...I wont have access to a computer any time soon, so I'm afraid I wont be able to answer you in detail, but I'd thought I'd let you know that a lot of your information is incorrect. For example, a credit card is not a loan you are forced to pay every month. It is indeed a credit they lend you, but it is absolutely not something they force you to pay. On the contrary, credit card companies would love it if you dont pay your balance (the amount of credit you used) in full since it would mean that they get to charge you interest and make money. Since you don't want to pay interest, it would be in your best interest (see what I did there? ;)) to pay off the balance in full. Never use your credit card if you can't afford to pay off the balance in full every month. Also, don't be afraid to use your credit card to start building up credit. The USA has a system that monitors your credit usage to assess how reliable of a person you are. Having a good credit will help you down the road with getting good loans for cars and good rates for a mortgage. Just be responsible early on and remember to not spend more than you can afford.
Anyhow, I ended up writing a lot but I'd just google every bullet point you wrote and see that the info you have is not exactly correct. For example, you do pay taxes for your groceries in the form of a sales tax which in the USA is tacked on later (silly I know).
As a final aside, I highly recommend living with your parents a little longer until you get more comfortable with your finances. I understanding wanting the need for independence and wanting to live away from your parents, but free rent is no joke; It really helps a lot with your savings lol. -

Currently on the s23 ultra. Was on the iphone pro max 13 before and the s22 ultra before that
Planning on jumping ship to the zflip 6 if the improve the outer screen with better tech to conserve battery better.
It really depends on your use case. I realized that my s23 ultra is really overpowered and I don't really need that much when all I do is social media, youtube, txt, calls, and some light games.
Moreover, imo the quality of the photo all of the flagships take are seriously negligible to the average person. Even more so after uploading it to instagram. The bigger difference in quality comes from the outer vs inner camera imo and that's where the zflip shines. I like to take a lot of selfies with my friends so I use my inner camera a lot which drastically reduces the quality. Even more so, if I'm in a restaurant with not the best lightning conditions. I figured since you can take selfies with the outer camera of the zflip (zflip outer camera > inner camera of other flagships), and I'm content with the quality of the zflip outer camera vs outer camera of other flagships, the zflip makes a lot of sense for me. Not to mention I'd be able to use the outer screen for a lot of minor things that might prevent me from otherwise doomscrolling on a typical slab phone.
Again, it depends on your use case :)
