It's almost a meme about how Fallon ruins everything, but honestly, that boy ain't right.

The look, the feel and sound seem on point. Some of the lines in the trailer hit the wrong note for me, "What's in the box?", but I'm thinking that's trailer editing pulling the lines out of context.

    Continued cautious optimism.

Depends on your location I believe. It hasn't released f2p everywhere just yet, so only the paid-for early access packages are available.

I'm pretty sure TemTem is not free to play - however they will be introducing a battle pass type system. Usually with those sort of things, there's a free tier to get some items, and a paid tier to get more items. Whether or not that translates into a enough revenue to go f2p remains to be seen

I think I consider it more of a traffic simulator, funded by faffing around with zones.

Which is reminiscent of Kittens Game. I would say Evolve is perhaps a little... easier? Unless changes in have happened in the last year since I played it, you have to be quite careful where you spend your prestige in order to continue progressing well.

I recalled something from the books about it and did a quick look around and found the following expert from The Last Wish:

Unlike priestesses and druidesses, who only unwillingly took ugly or crippled girls, sorcerers took anyone who showed evidence of a predisposition. If the child passed the first years of training, magic entered into the equation - straightening and evening out legs, repairing bones which had badly knitted, patching harelips, removing scars, birthmarks and pox scars. The young sorceress would become attractive because the prestige of her profession demanded it. The result was pseudo-pretty women with the angry and cold eyes of ugly girls. Girls who couldn't forget their ugliness had been covered by the mask of magic only for the prestige of their profession.

There's also mention of Geralt noticing her shoulders were lopsided and realising she used to be hunchbacked

    possible mild spoilers

Netflix has released a series of character introductions for the upcoming Witcher series

The Witcher | Character Introduction: Princess Cirilla

The Witcher | Character Introduction: Yennefer of Vengerberg

    --

Have to say, this series is looking amazing. Might be easy to make it look that way in trailers, but I'm very ready for the December 20th release.

(Included the mention of spoilers, which I guess most trailers actually have. I don't think there's anything in here to spoil the show if you've already played the games, or read the books)
