It's very story intense and I had to constantly look up what each faction and god were all about and what they were trying to accomplish. At the end of the game, I felt accomplished and the story ended up fitting together nicely.
PoE II explains itself much better and the story is less confusing since they're more up front with telling the player what they need. I also feel as though II is a bt quicker-paced but the combat is generally easier. Enough so that the hardcore players have been complaining about beefing up the hardest difficulties

They reworked a couple of things (like how spellcasters have per encounter spells instead of per rest) that improved the game over the first. I highly recommend it if you're a fan of the isometric style RPG games

I hate thinking about it, but I'd be shocked if there wasn't a lot of physical, emotional, and sexual abuse happening to these kids, either by their peers (or within a few years) or the officers watching them.
It's detestable and I can't believe we've put in people at every level of government that support these policies.

I feel as though Overwatch League (OWL) has actually helped with toxicity as people really into the game see the players laugh and have a good time instead of berate and yell at each other.

I'm pretty hopeful about the future, though. Next season will be tough with KP out for most, if not all, of the season and we have a young squad. Who knows what we do at the draft or if we end up in some wonky trade.
Our main issue is ownership. James Dolan is the worst best owner in the league. He has the money and willingness to pay for a good squad but he puts his nose in the decision-making processes too often and he doesn't have the same basketball smarts as GMs in the league

We played that this past weekend and I'm loving my character: the race is a bioengineered cat (think Rocket Raccoon from Guardians of the Galaxy) piloting Robot Armor. I've been throwing cat puns where I can and the GM is really great at managing games so it's usually a blast playing.

I'm trying out a new level up scheme where the players started at level 2 and will take 2 levels every level up (so they'll level up to 4, then 6, 8, etc.). I've only been a part of one campaign that made it past 10th level, so I'm hoping this scheme will advance them to the upper levels before we wear out the setting/campaign.
The players roleplayed very well, which just made the whole night a lot of fun. I introduced them to a goblin historian studying ancient ruins in a desert. They played up to his quirks and chatted with a few of his students. I usually don't feel comfortable doing quirky or distinct character voices, but my players really made it comfortable for everybody. Since they were level 2, I had their first encounter be a group of cockatrices (CR 1/2 each, if I remember right). I had one too many enemies in the combat, but the players managed it well enough. Saturday is session 2 and I'm getting excited!
Also, I'd love for a ~games.dnd to be added

Proper hydration would help solve the problem as the excess ions from salt would come out in your urine. My point was that while salt intake does effect our blood pressure and heart health, stress and activity level are more important than salt levels. They're also harder to manage, from a lot of people's perspective, anyway

My vinyl collection is much more of a "trophy" collection for me. I have a few dozen of my favorite records that take up one shelf. I play them only one or two times a week, and sometimes only one side of a record. I like having the unique artwork and the process of listening to vinyl gets me in the mood for the specific record I'm putting on.
-
Streaming is my workhorse method of listening to music. I put it on my Google Home and do chores or flit about the house. I stream at work and in the car, too. Streaming does more, no doubt about it. Playlists, endless amounts of music, crazy genres you've just now decided to give a chance, you name it. The quality is also still pretty high, too.
-
Digital is best for quality though and through, but I haven't downloaded albums to quality digital in so long that I barely feel it qualifies for a point here.
Idk. Vinyl is a fun hobby but it;s not necessarily the best or most frequent way I digest music.

I'm not sure how we go about doing it, either; so much of our world's society is dependent on using things that generate pollution. Mining metals for our phones, using electricity to cool and heat our homes, burning gas to run cars and trucks. It's alarming to see the trends be ignored or erroneously refuted by those in power.

I like II more, for sure. There were a couple of changes I'm not into (Wizard spellbooks function differently) but for the most part, II outshines I in almost every way. They even have an intro option to catch youup to speed on what happened in I
