It's not doing any one thing particularly special, but everything it does do, it does great and the way it comes together IS special.
Would also recommend "Encased" as an option in the RPG bundle. A really nice sci-fi cRPG that's absolutely worth the low entrance fee.

I wish I could buy it now so I could get a PDF copy then be shipped a physical when it becomes available. I can't afford to buy a PDF version and then a physical copy though.
Will grab one of Hypnos's games! I've bought a ton of solo rpg stuff over the past week or so, and I want to make a thread about it eventually.

They're rapping about this stuff because murder rates are so high. Murder rates aren't so high because of rap music.
I'm not sure we should laud the justice system's treatment of a black man ever. The justice system has a long history of mistreatment to black Americans, and I'm not comfortable with them deciding what he should and shouldn't rap about.

A Sign of Affection - Off to a sweet start, I love the premise. The stories of deaf people are so rarely told.
Hope You're Happy, Lemon - I'm having fun, but it's not done anything extraordinary yet. It's cute though.
Yona of the Dawn - I'm positive that I'm going to love this. -

I think if they can nail the launch and not try to wring every penny out of its players then it should get off to a great start. They need to lean into a marketing campaign when it gets closer to launch. I want it to succeed so badly, I'd love for a new multiplayer game to hook me.
Think I should dabble in Smite 1 in the mean time?

I was so onboard for what it was doing. Solid game play mechanics, charming writing, and most of all it was absolutely gorgeous visually. I'm surprised to learn it got lukewarm reviews. I was certain it would be an indie darling.
I plan on owning a Switch again some day, or hopefully the Switch 2 will be completely backwards compatible and I can transfer my digital library to it. Either way, I will return to Eastward. Thanks for reminding me of it :)

I do love Bloodborne(although I admit I haven't finished it), but I really think having to rebrand for Nightmare Kart was for the best. Nightmare Kart stands on its own in my opinion. Everyone try it asap!!
I dearly wish it had online

Personally, if I was a creator I would absolutely want my videos on the Spotify app. They already get plenty of toxic derogatory comments on YouTube. They make videos because they love it in spite of that shit. Besides, Spotify doesn't have a comment section lol.

I'm pretty excited for this. I hope Spotify fills their pockets, they deserve it. I'd love to see YouTube have some competition, even if it is just another big corp. Nebula has a bunch of great creators, here's hoping more of them are brought on by Spotify.

I was just playing music all the time. Getting ready? music. Going to work? music. At work? music, etc etc. I was lucky to have been given an old storage room as an office and I LOVED it. Some people might scoff, but I'll take anything as an office. I work far better with privacy and music on.
I wish I could access my old Spotify Wrapped. I found the email for 2019, but the link no longer works. I'd like to raise the amount of music, especially new music, I listen to again, but I don't think I could listen to as much as 130,000 minutes. As I've gotten older I require a bit more quiet when I'm using my critical thinking brain.

The music I...I'm in the same boat. It annoys me that they're raising the price because I doubt artists will see an increase in payouts, but 11.99 is still an insanely good value for me personally. The music I have found and listened to through Spotify has genuinely been life changing and gotten me through crushingly dark times. I've also lightly been using it for audiobooks, but never reaching the 15 hour cap. Mostly just listening to books I put down and want to pick back up and need a little help jogging my memory. I inevitably buy vinyls for albums I love and go to live shows whenever I can to show support as well as the odd piece of merch here and there, so I don't feel too guilty.
Several years ago, in my darkest year, I listened to 130,000 hours of music. Without Spotify and Stereogum.com, I'm not entirely sure how I would've made it. So yeah, the value is still there for me. I'm sure I will eventually jump ship from Spotify. All corporations eventually cross the line, and I'm not going to stan for any of them. For now though... Spotify it is.

Plus I really appreciate short JRPG's. I just have a hard time maintaining focus on one game for upwards of 100 hours, especially a turn based game.
I'm kinda with you about the aesthetic. It seems to be a pretty trendy style right now with games like Octopath Traveler using similar visuals. I don't want to call it bad, but I think I just prefer traditional 2D sprite work. That said, it's fine enough that I still want to play the game.
Are the plot, dialogue and characters strong? Or pretty par for the course when it comes to JRPG stories? In other words, tropey I guess.

Comment on Detransition is gender liberation, too - Here's to never being satisfied and forever changing in ~lgbt

The relief that comes with understanding oneself is...Time for a cliche: Finding your identity is a journey. Detransitioning is absolutely gender liberation if it brings peace to someone. The relief that comes with understanding oneself is indescribable, and no one should be robbed of that. This is going to sound super ignorant, but I remember learning about the existence of trans people in my early 20's and it blew my mind. I mean literally, I was floored. I had always struggled with my place as a man. I never felt like one. Whenever I spent time with girls, I just felt so much more comfortable. I just felt like generally, my wavelength matched theirs. I cross-dressed constantly until I was 15 and decided I "had to stop this silly fantasy". I had to accept I'd never be a woman, I'd never be accepted as a woman. So for a decade, I shoved those feelings away. Literally actively repressed my thoughts and feelings, shutting down my brain the second it wandered to those feelings. So a decade later, when I found reddit and saw transgender users discussing their experiences, I was just so stunned. I legitimately thought my feelings were so rare, and that I was just being weird. The realization that I can be the person I want to be was so goddamn liberating. A switch had been flipped in my brain, and all those old feelings came flooding back. I was still hesitant though, I mean do a few stray thoughts really mean I'm a transwoman? But the more I analyzed my past, the more I realized how much I had really repressed. I mean I had literally made myself forget for YEARS all the things I had in common with other women. I was too busy playing a straight boy. It actually makes me laugh now about the level of denial I was in. It's just so clear to me now. I'm so glad other trans people shared their experiences on the internet. Without them, I would have denied myself for my whole life.
Transitioning is liberation, destransitioning as an act of finding oneself is liberation. Find your peace however you can. Be you the best you can.
Some trans people would say that I detransitioned because I was too weak and couldn’t handle the difficulty of being visibly queer or a man
I hate this because I do it to myself. I still struggle with self-hate. I haven't made a lot of progress as far as my personal goals go, and sometimes I tell myself it's because I'm weak and afraid. It just isn't true. Everyone moves at their own pace. Some people have different goals. Some people want to "pass" and some people just want to be happy with what they see in the mirror. Some want gender affirming surgeries and some don't. They're all equally trans. Gatekeeping is shit. Anyone who has called themselves trans should know just how hard it all can be. I don't know how common this sentiment is, but shaming people for trying to find themselves awful.
Are they still editable?
