I also think Indy is horribly mischaracterised. We watch him shake off his rough and gruff and slightly misogynistic persona in Raiders so seeing it come back in full force is kinda upsetting imo. Even though it's a prequel.
Not to mention Willie is super fucking annoying and a spit in the face of the people who liked the the strong female representation that was Marion (in the context of the time, she could still be better obviously).
Temple just has too much going against it to be really held up against 1 and 3. Although that shirt getting more ripped towards the end of the movie is peak Indy.

Which isn't necessary a bad thing but it was more then typically egregious in Men.
I thought this was a huge step on the right direction for him.
It seems like he really got to flex his pure skill as a film maker here. Especially the sound design and editing.

jujubunicorn I had the exact same thoughts about Lee's death. Felt very anti climatic. Especially who stupid it was for the younger reporter to try and take that picture.I had the exact same thoughts about Lee's death. Felt very anti climatic. Comment on What is your "can't miss" movie that you will not pass up if showing in theaters? in ~movies
jujubunicorn Close Encounters of a Third Time showed at the Cinerama (now SIFF downtown) in Seattle when I was around 11. It forever changed me and is the reason I make movies. I would never pass up a showing...Close Encounters of a Third Time showed at the Cinerama (now SIFF downtown) in Seattle when I was around 11. It forever changed me and is the reason I make movies. jujubunicorn Mostly the mobile app is what I'm talking about. And all the nitro features it constantly tries to push.
