I loved RDR, but I'm also sick of all of Rockstar's recent shenanigans so I think I'm just going to leave the pleasant memory of the past remain there.

I'm getting un(?)reasonably mad over the needlessly contrived and invasive account requirements for certain games, and it's required for this game too just to play it by your lonesome. Stop it....

    Stop it. Nobody wants this.

Mods to bypass account or always-online requirements are my favorite mods.

Honestly, I don't know considering the price they ask for the PS4 version.

Nah, that's the wrong one. Surely you'll die outside this barn.

I replayed this game last year via an Xbox 360 emulator, which gave a lot of those features, albeit with a bit of jank, but it stood up well and I played it through to the end of the story again. Hopefully they didn't do anything to ruin this like with their recent re-releases of several of the Grand Theft Auto games.

I'm curious what value DLSS and frame gen will offer a 14 year old game. Surely any GPU new enough to support these features would have no trouble running this game at high resolutions and frame...

on that note, some non RT upscaling like FSR would be nice though! my 1070ti 8g mini would be very grateful.

I feel like a 1070 Ti should still be overkill for this game. It was designed to run on hardware from 2005.

Oh jeez, that's just not worth it - at that point I could just find a copy from goodwill or ebay and just play it on my PS3 I still have under the TV.
