Hobby forums, a variety of sites you'd go to when you wanted to waste some time, multiple ways to contact friends, but your chances of running into somebody IRL that uses any of them is slim. I like it.

They have the aptX Adaptive codec which I was looking for since it's lower latency (while still being decent quality; important for watching TV or YouTube...The ones I use are the Edifier TWS1-Pro. They're a tiny bit finicky, but I've found that putting them back in the case, closing it, waiting a sec, and opening back up again tends to fix most issues. I assume they pair with the base. Sound quality is good, I don't know how they compare to Bose/Sony.

kandace LinkHonkai Star Rail - This is a gacha (lootbox-y) RPG that feels similar to the Trails series, with a bit of a Persona vibe. It's good! It's free unless you choose to spend money on it. Gas Station Simulator - I read a review that called this a Very Dad Game. Perhaps the Most Dad Game. It's true. I'm not a dad, but it's a Very Dad Game. I like the party bus visitors. You run a gas station. It is what it says on the tin.
Mr. Prepper - This is also a very dad game. You're a prepper dude who builds out your bunker (with animals! - if you have the Farm DLC anyway) while trying not to get caught. Also there are aliens/UFO abductions. Storyline gives you a dog that will bring you things and is generally a Very Good Boy.

I don't mind subscriptions, but I have a finite amount of money to pay bills, and subscriptions are bills.
I do now, but as a kid I would infer based on the context and components of the word. I've gone to use words I picked up that way and found myself second-guessing my assumptions... so I'd look it up and find I was using it correctly.
As an adult, it's more unusual to run into words I don't know, so I tend to look them up if they aren't explained in the text.
