It is too early for me to discuss the travesty of OW2. Blizzard went from being the greatest PC game company ever to sharing a septic tank with EA.

I dunno, I'd like to see a Days Gone sequel where the heroes try to reach Portland, whereupon they meet a former govt group that needs to test a cure and they help make that happen, using different methods to tranq undead and wrangle them during a given window. Could introduce some fun elements where you scavenge parts, materials, organics even to help sustain the efforts of the cure group.

And then you can contrast that with leftover government/military elements that want to essentially nuke everything and move people underground, and you could have some sort of questline choice where you go along with that plan or try to stop the destruction, where your choices affect what happens.

You could have a well-armed, non-crazy doomsday cult opposing your efforts to save the old world status quo, as well as federal elements giving you hard choices to help or get dead. Given our hero's less-than-friendly disposition towards authority, you could make some seriously compelling choices happen.

That game didn't get its due, and I'd love to see a second segment.

Shit, it's ramped up in my house. The Ninja Creami is amazing. We use protein powder, Fairlife, and a few things like resse's cups and oreos for mixins. 70g protein per pint.

As a single-minority (non-white) male, it really bothers me when my no-minority male friends say stuff like “I’m a white heterosexual male and I’m sorry.”

Yes, it is out of control and I wish more people spoke up about it. Some white people have been so brainwashed into this fabricated sense of guilt that the pendulum has swung way the hell over.

On my side, I get a lot of white women randomly accost me to tell me that I should be proud of my skin (uh, I am?), and that my people should be lifted up (do you mean my black parent or my latino parent?), that they feel for my plight (I got to play pro sports, I'm good) and what have you.

I'm not a zoo animal, or some object to be pitied; they don't realize how bizarre it is to hear that sort of blatant fawning/pandering. As the kids would say, it's cringe.

You're not on Reddit, you can share views that aren't lockstep with the left and receive good dialogue.

I think you have a good grasp on the situation. I'll add a few brief thoughts.

From what I have seen, quite a few of my white male friends (I'm a double-minority male) express to me that they feel/think that anything they say is automatically tainted, regardless of who they are as people. That showing emotions is met with ridicule, to "man up", that they are responsible for everything wrong with the world. It is a recent phenomenon, and an ominous one at that.

The manosphere is a recent reaction to that treatment, where you have a group of people that is being cornered with a variety of opponents on all sides. And sure, there's some toxic people in that group, like any other. There's toxic people in knitting circles and spades clubs, just talk to my auntie. It's a disservice to ignore the issues, and subsequently the men who have a hard time finding ANY place to turn.

I certainly understand what it's like to face automatic prejudice, simply due to the amount of pigmentation my skin has. Never mind my background, my experiences, or my personality. I see my white friends dealing with it, just in different ways. It is far too familiar, and dismaying, than I can express here.

Also, peppers, naan, and other items have to be done over flames.

This makes me think of nature vs. nurture, and how I've heard that we're the average of our five closest friends/loved ones. While "crucible" is too harsh of a word, it's as if being present in this place, with higher standard, inspires others to conduct themselves accordingly. It's fantastic.

As you would expect everything that was ok last time is still ok this time, but NASA is fucking paranoid because of the Shuttle so we have to jump through a billion hoops to make them happy.

Disclaimer: I'm friends with a former astronaut. Story Musgrave. He's not well-known, but I would strongly suggest to anyone reading this to absorb his wiki and see what that man has accomplished in his life. I happened to meet his son, years ago. We got to talking business, and I ended up drum scanning and color-correcting hundreds of images that Story took while out in space.

Technical/oversight failures created not one, but two national tragedies. The loss of far too many incredibly talented and high-performing people. The ruination of NASA's public image and subsequently the struggle with funding impacted progress for decades. All because of one O-ring and a potential issue that a bunch of people hand-waved. So speaking as someone who was a teenager when the first shuttle was lost and quite clearly remembers both incidents, much less my disclaimer, I'd rather NASA be fastidious across all vectors than not.

I'm sorry that you find this work to be tedious and unnecessary. I hope that every calculation, test result, and data review is indeed as on-point and trustworthy as you believe it to be.
