maauer LinkLess of a supply chain thing but my university (Northeastern United States) is having trouble staffing many non-faculty positions. Related, my hometown is having trouble retaining and finding k-12...Less of a supply chain thing but my university (Northeastern United States) is having trouble staffing many non-faculty positions. Related, my hometown is having trouble retaining and finding k-12 teachers. This is more the labor market though not supply chain.

maauer Link Parentin the beginning of the pandemic I tried to make my own masks and cut apart comfortable commercial ones at the seams to use as patterns. I think it would have worked but I never found a comfy...in the beginning of the pandemic I tried to make my own masks and cut apart comfortable commercial ones at the seams to use as patterns. maauer Link ParentI graduated from high school a couple years ago. I never took civics. My parents took civics in the same school district in the 80s. maauer Link ParentI've done this on occasion and, yes, after a few days I get tired of a song. It needs to be a song that clicks in a certain way. However, I can listen to it on repeat for 5+ hours a day for a week...I've done this on occasion and, yes, after a few days I get tired of a song. It needs to be a song that clicks in a certain way. However, I can listen to it on repeat for 5+ hours a day for a week before that happens. For me its kind of like this comment above where the music is just something to fill a void and distract myself from the world and my own thoughts. A song that I know very well makes it easier to work on other things while listening, after a while my brain no longer latches onto the music.
It does take a few weeks/months to be able to listen to that song again though.
