I absolutely love fries with mustard and a good beer in Belgium. Good memories! Such a lovely country.

As you can imagine, I really struggled with Voss’ book.

One thing I’ve learnt is that there are some people who I prefer to chat to online and some who I prefer to see in person. Some of my good friends are people that I almost never message but I love seeing them in person. The opposite is also true.

Perhaps you and your cousin feel more comfortable talking online?

It could also be that either you or her were having a bad day and didn’t feel like talking about more serious topics.

Relationships of any kind take time and need to be given many chances. A negative interaction doesn’t mean that it will always be negative, but this requires effort on your part to not give up.

In the end, if you see that it isn’t working the only thing that has worked for me is acceptance. Being grateful for the time you spent together and accept that things don’t last forever.

Who knows you might reconnect in a few years.

It blows my mind to see people passing this off as no big deal. It screams incompetence.

I just can’t see anyone self identifying as a pedophile voluntarily. It’s a social death sentence. Even more so if the “help” you get is to be sterilised.

I’m glad you pushed back on that idea. I find it frustrating that conversations around pedophiles causes many people to lose their minds. A fantastic movie that highlights this is The Hunt 2012.

What you’re proposing is eugenics and any implementation of that idea will be used as a weapon against people.

I do not trust any government body to limit the reproductive functions of any individual. We have seen countless times in the past where this is a terrible idea.

This aligns closely to how I feel about generosity and I agree completely with being generous with time and attention. Thank you for sharing.

This sounds joyful and exactly the kind of thing I was thinking of. I really like the idea with the trello board, thank you.

What made you choose your non-profit? I’ve perhaps become too cynical from dealing with non-profit organisations in my line of work.

If I look back, I have always been attached to money even since I was very young. I feel differently now as my wife is not like that but I can’t say I have ever let go. Despite being in a comfortable situation.

I try my best to help people as much as I can at work, but I can’t say I’ve done much more than that.

I’d love to hear what you do to be generous.
