    The blog post says

Our goal has always been to ... help as many people as we can stay dry and safe ... There is no better place to accomplish these goals than at Apple. We’re thrilled to have the opportunity to reach far more people, with far more impact, than we ever could alone.

This statement is contradictory. If their goal is actually to reach as many people as possible, they would be doing more to improve the app on multiple platforms to reach a larger audience. By closing down the Android and web apps they are shrinking their potential audience. The post seems insincere to me.

As someone who keeps the button-down collar unbuttoned, I do it because it make the collar lay further from my neck instead of propping upright and rubbing my neck constantly.

That's how I feel about it too. Expect for a few services (restaurants, bell hops, etc), I think tipping should be for exceptional service, not a given. Uber is no exception and it's better that way

I've been meaning to listen to that too. Sounds like you may be new to Bon Iver, but I am curious if you have listened to the last album, 22 A Million, and how that compares to i,i?

I've been listening to No Doubt today at work. Gwen Stefani rules. Also been listening to Enema of the State by blink 182. Trying to sing the entirety of The Party Song without messing up.

You make a good point. White isn't a culture or ethnic group, it's an artificial racial categorization. Reading the article, I understood the author's use of the term Whiteness differently than you. I didn't think of Whiteness as an ideology or a class. I think of whiteness as a descriptive adjective of the physical characteristics of a person. I think the author does a poor job of clarifying this distinction.

That being said, I do agree that modern country music is overly-saturated with lyrics sexualizing women. The same formula is getting old.

This article seems more like a thinly veiled attempt to paint country music fans as misogynistic racists than a substantive critique of modern country music. It attacks positive views of 'whiteness' as a negative thing. Nothing wrong with being proud of who you are and what you look like, as long as you don't see yourself as superior to others.
