I get the kinda disappointment with the safe play recipe of the expansion, I was kind of expecting a bit more. That aside I think that's another expack I'm going to like, delves sound like my perfect content, refined class fantasies as evergreen mechanics and warbands sound pretty good to me.

I also felt like I got some vibes of finishing up and wiping the slate with the current state of the game what with the plot summaries of the next expansions.

I think I'm cautiously optimistic. Seasons of discovery sounds super fun as well.

Really liked the soundtrack in the trailer too, slight Doom vibes.

Way more prog and metal, but Animals As Leaders also are instrumental and they are completely insane musically, it's great: e.g. Conflict Cartography

I'm on FL Studio, works great for me and has a pretty good trial, so can just give it a shot. They also have a very fair pricing model with livelong upgrades once you buy even one of the cheaper editions and the option to upgrade your edition down the line if you need more options, or just buy specific plugins.

I can't tell you how close it is to logic, as I've never works with it, sorry :(

FL doesn't have the most professional reputation, but I've found it to be a very low stakes entry point with lots of tutorials and a not-too-steep learning curve (looking at you, Ableton). I will admit though, that it is better at piano roll midi songwriting with vsts than recording, but I've been recording our band things with it and it's definitely servicable.

I really like Dawncaster. It's a deck building roguelite. There's DLC available which adds more variety, but the base game was plenty fun for me already!

I love mononoki. I don't think it has ligatures, but I really do not like those. For me, i find that they make code less readable.

I'd definitely take a day. Monkey park was pretty fun too and there was a scenic train ride to take. I'd highly recommend both!

I got myself a Kraxe Prater Vogue while on vacation in Porto (where they are made). So far it's been very dependable, I use it every day and often carry a laptop around. It has a lot of room for everyday bits and bobs and some smaller pouched for keys etc.

My only complaint are the straps, which can be a bit rough on the skin when not wearing something with sleeves.

It costs a fee to get in, but you get a cup of matcha and it's a really relaxing experience.

Haven't printed anything in a while tbh, but on my Ender 3 v2 I made a hitbox style fighting game controller completely from scratch. The only part I ordered was cut acrylic for the top, the rest is all printed, even the buttons. I learned a whole lot while making it (and especially it's previous version, which was pretty bad).

I also own a small resin printer (I forget the model.. Photon something?) which I use to print DnD figurines (mostly Heroforge) for my games.

I've long quit ranked, I really only play the occasional aram anymore, but I think I would really have liked the removal of the promotion and the flattening of the curve.

Promotion really felt like some sort of artificial test situation that often just ended in frustration with very little you could have done differently. It's a promotion, but since it's ranked anyway, you always play seriously anyways, so what's the point?

Flattening of the curve sounds good to me but I can't really articulate why. Just feels better to me.

Two things, both related to EVE Online. One tool is a station trading tool that I had made like 10 years ago in C# WPF. It automatically parsed CSV files created by the game and showed me some basic information about items I might want to trade (profit, cost of sales, margin). I've started playing again and missed my tool, so I decided to remake it as an electron app with vue3, mainly for practice as that's what my frontend devs use and I want to be at least semi proficient.

The other tool is a utility that regularly queries my trading character's API data and turns changes between calls into events, with the end goal of sending those to some analytics platform and make some pretty graphs for fun. This is written in dotnet core 7
