It often feels like the developers don't know what to do so they just look at a character, see what gap they have in their toolset, and buff the hell out of it with no regard for consequences.
The more games I play the more I think just letting the meta develop is the right thing to do. SF6 is doing something similar by only having 1 major balance patch a year, and it seems to be going ok. "balance" shouldn't be a goal in itself, the game has to be fun too

Gogol Bordello is always a lot of fun but the roster seems to rotate a lot
I saw sabaton as an opener and they upstaged the main act so hard that I dont even remember who they were opening for
Danny Brown is a lot of fun live too, he was really supportive of his openers which was great to see

I do use earplugs as well and it took me a while to find comfortable ones, I like Mack's. But if they hurt your ears obviously it's better to not force it

I loved The Diamond Age and Snow Crash, but nothing else I tried (anathem several times, cryptonomicon several times, sevenses and zodiac) grabbed me. Just a bit too dense for me

I was worried about the influence mechanics making the game flow a bit weird, but it works quite well and creates funny situations of having players pull the same character back and forth each trying to accomplish their goals
It really reminded me of space station 13 although I would say it was not chaotic enough due to the characters we got. Definitely want to play it again

Overall I'm liking the series so far. It's scratching that star trek itch for me. The culture society is quite interesting and I'm looking forward to seeing how it gets developed

Been really enjoying it as it lets you run PPSSPP with most of games at 3x resolution and you can easily load in HD texture and right analog mods.
Really wish I still had my vita though, some of the homebrew ports for it are insane. And I quite like the catalog on it too, lots of cool indies and fighting games

I had absolutely zero clue what I'd read. I'd have to go back to find the last bit I remembered, and when I read from that point - I didn't say "Oh yaeh, I remember this bit now" - no, I literally had not comprehended any of it when my mind wandered off, even though some part of my brain read the words.
I heavily suspect I have ADHD and this part hit me pretty hard as I was doing it while reading the comment! I noticed that even when I'm focused I still "miss" a lot of what I've read, and end up piecing together the meaning of the text from surrounding context. Which is a shame because I really do enjoy reading
Got my assessment scheduled for 2025 because every doctor is overbooked here but at least I'm on the path
I'm still very early in fallout london but it seems to have fixed a lot of the issues I have with 4. There are real dialogue trees with skill checks, and it uses a more traditional FNV style perk system (even has some of the perks from NV like lady killer)
Very excited to play more of it as I bounced off fo4 super hard
