Knowledge Fight, the podcast, has a good episode analysing the whole affair

Yes, absolutely. How are we still having this discussion in 2024? He gives a platform, and even a pedestal, to people who actively harm our society. He does not deserve any sympathy.

do you think Rogan's podcast deserves to be unilaterally shut down from major platforms just because of the guests he's had and the views he expresses?

I've been meaning to replay xcom 2, maybe I'll give your modpack a try. It seems ludicrously huge though, surely there are some conflicts and bugs introduced?

Games have too much time commitment today anyway, honestly. I'd love more games that I can complete in just a few hours.

I have been playing Satisfactory almost rabidly, it's a total addiction I can't stop thinking about. 10/10 do recommend, unless you like having a sleep cycle.

That was really fun to read, what a creative and sombre story. Gave it a "quick look" and finished an hour later.

I've not finished PoE, like you I got some ways in then dropped it months ago (for the third time, too). Parts of it really interest me but it never quite seems to "hook" me in ways other RPGs do. I'll have to find the time to finish it

It's fun to consume drugs. Most people that consume drugs recreationally do so simply because they enjoy it. If people had more economic power and more time for recreation they would almost certainly take more drugs, not less. Recreational drug use is not a metric for how bad society has become.

If your university is anything like mine was then knowing how to make a basic Python script already puts you above average.

^ This line is great. I’ve seen a people make similar points, but never so succinctly.

Buyers can’t differentiate between secure and insecure products, so sellers prefer to spend their money on features that buyers can see
