paulsteinway Labels aren't always a bad thing. If a label applies to you, it means you're not the only one. That can be validating. That said, I'm not totally sure where I fall either.

First of all, transgender women are not men.
Second of all, there is no evidence that transgender women are more likely to assault someone than anybody else.
Third of all, a cisgender man could walk into a women's bathroom and assault someone before anybody noticed they went in. It's not like there's guards posted outside. If you're worried about assaults in women's bathrooms then keep the men out. Don't discriminate against people who have nothing to do with it.
