Bringing financial sovereignty to everyone, hopefully starting with the people who need it the most, Zimbabwe and Venezuela come to mind.
What got you interested?
For me, i was a punk rock kid and after art school, i moved to europe, lived in squats with anarchists, got shot at while in the middle east on several occasions, and met the most beautiful people there too. Then got in with a group of digital nomads in 08'. When my sons godfather was evangelising Bitcoin in '14, it was my second time hearing about it, i bought as much as i could. which wasn't much, but enough to make me curious and a proponent.
I have to say that the more i read, the more i become a bitcoin maximalist.
I also appreciate moon memes. -

I do mostly body weight exercises and have recently been trying out Pavel Tsatsouline's recommendations from the Tim Ferriss podcast. Which consists of 5 - 10% of max reps several times throughout the day every day. Mostly pushups and pull ups with occasional kettlebell Turkish getups and cardio regularly (cycling and running). I have had periods of doing yoga, and i always stretch and work on mobility but nothing specific.
I've always been athletic but never had a regular program and dislike gyms so... now a days i'm mostly staying fit to be able to age well. -

Especially when I would do a meditation retreat, meditating for about 10hrs per day, I would have really vivid lucid dreams which even, and as i recall, one bled over into the waking world.
In some of the dreams i would be visited by the rinpoche's who were long dead, and have really insightful conversations.
Unfortunately, all these years later, i'm just left with the knowledge of these dreams but not so much the content. I may have journaled some of it back then. I like to believe that it has entered my subconscious and it's been integrated into my self now. -

Now a days I use 2FA everywhere i can, encrypt my computer and use VPN and i still don't feel totally secure.
Privacy/Security would be a nice tilde to have. -

Today is my first day here. Found out about tildes on r/truereddit I think and decided to ask for an invite right away. I've been on reddit for about 8 years or so. Not sure i'm leaving it yet, i feel like it is a good way to keep up with whats going on in different aspects of the world. But, I also don't like the direction it is heading.
I'm interested in foraging & herbal medicine, photography, travel, education, cryptocurrency, technology, science... I've lived around the US and Europe. I have two kids, the youngest was born three weeks ago.
My deepest rabbit hole at the moment is cryptotwitter. I got my first bitcoin in 2014 mostly because of my punkrock youth. I suppose I something about it being intertwined with our future and am more and more convinced that blockchain is a buzz word and Bitcoin will be around as long as the internet exists. But i'm not sure of anything.
Late night, some hours before I head off to Portugal this came up on my Youtube homepage, I was busy infusing some coconut oil with decarboxoladated cannibis and i figured I'd just play it. I have never listened to Dave Matthews, in fact it was one of those bands that i just assumed sucked. I grew up punkrock. But, hey, I'm an adult now and I'm actually more curious so i thought id give it a chance. The first song played in the back ground while i was at work straining the weed and i thought, oh, its not as a bad as i thought it would be, i sort of even thought his voice was kind of unique. then the mid song banter began and i realized i had it on 1.5 speed. and i thought, hey, did i just hear that at 1.5 speed? let me go back 30sec to hear the actual recording. Hmmm, not what i imagined. Next song began and i couldn't even stand it in the back ground and quickly clicked on Anderson Paak at the Tiny Desk Concerts, a fav of mine. I even realized that this recording is so good i decided to download the video using VLC. Thanks Dave for getting me to rip a great concert off of youtube! [7]
