I have a gas stove and gas oven in my apartment and it’s always made a decently strong smell, at least to my nose. Especially the oven.

spoiler for main story going through the memory sequence in Kellogg’s brain.

I’m pretty impatient when it comes to skipping dialogue and cutscenes. Having to slog through and wait for the scenes to end kills me every time. Plus, IIRC that quest is crucial for loading some of the game scripts, so you can’t even skip it without risking the save.

Edit: I have ADHD myself and use a flippy chain, it's like two keyrings connected by a segment of bicycle chain. It's small enough that it's pretty covert, and cheap enough that you can store one everywhere you might need it.

Wait, this is the first I’m hearing of OceanGate not reporting them missing for 8 whole hours, that’s wild.

My dog Finn just turned two, and having him around has completely changed my life. I have ADHD and struggle a lot with taking care of myself and getting things done, but even on days that I wouldn’t even have the mental strength to feed myself, I have to take care of him. Taking him outside, playing, or just giving him a treat can be like a jumpstart for my brain.

It’s still challenging sometimes; I can get hyperfocused on things and ignore him for hours (although I’m slowly improving on this), and he can be an asshole.

I love training him, though, and watching him learn new things and figure out problems is fascinating. He was in training for HRD, which ended up not working out for various reasons, but we’ll be starting a scentwork class soon.

He’s really the best dog I could have asked for and I honestly can’t picture what my life would look like right now if not for him.

Also, what if I want to log in to some website on, say, a library computer? I have to go through the process of adding a new key for that device, just to delete it after?

And as far as I can see this would introduce a lot of hassle for those of us with many devices (phone, personal laptop, work laptop, desktop, tablet, plus misc. other devices).

I cast runes for a very similar reason. It’s more about how I am interpreting the runes’ meaning than anything else. It’s helped me make quite a few decisions over the years by figuring out what I really wanted or where I was stuck.

It’s like something my mom always told me. If you’re stuck on a decision, flip a coin. While it’s in the air, you’ll often find yourself hoping for one side or the other. Go with that side.

I fully agree. The loss of all the collective knowledge and information from people overwriting their reddit history has genuinely been causing me more distress than the blackouts as a whole. There are so many times I’ve searched for solutions to an obscure code bug or a very specific question and the answer has been in a single reddit comment buried on the second page of google, and the thought of that being potentially lost forever makes me want to cry a little.
