"oh but they have no compassion to others!" someone said on twitter.

    1. you don't know
    2. it doesn't matter. they are not genocidal maniacs. their only "sin" is that they are rich.

I started the book series because of the amazon show. Honestly? I quite like it -- the action is great, there's a TON of info on guns and other military things and, if you treat as fiction, it's just that. Fiction. As someone that always enjoyed Jack Reacher, it's basically more of the same which is a 10/10.

we cook food for him once a week (a mix of brown rice, ground beef, zucchini, carrots, sweet potatoes and broccoli -- it's much cheaper than buying ready-to-eat food and much more healthy), so we put the drops in it. it basically has no taste.

i would recommend talking to your dog's vet and see if you can give them gabapentin daily. some dogs have liver issues that might cause problems.

First, gabapentin, twice a day (mornings and evenings), 100mg. It's amazing for neurological pain.

And... CBD oil! We give him 2 drops of 10% CBD in MCT oil by the morning and another drop or two (depends on the day) at night just before sleep.

Before he was quite stiff and never wanted to play. He's much better nowadays and you can totally see the difference.

oh another thing! he currently weights 13.5kg.

i legit think kane is one of the best "number nines" in the world right now (and, as a gooner, it hurts me to say that). if he's scoring like he is with spurs, he would break records at RM.

why would mbappe even go to spurs? they have literally no project. it would be as hilarious as a gooner asking him to go to arsenal -- it makes no sense.

try buying dried orange slices! it's not expensive, they last forever and they add some good complexity to your cocktails. i prefer fresh fruit, but i always have some dried one just in case.

It might be the garnish then, I rarely buy citrus fruits so I often don't have peels on hand.

i might be biased, but i 100% recomend friedhats' coffee. they have some really interesting ones -- this ethiopia one is SUPER funky and interesting.

i buy them grinded for aeropress and i just use James Hoffman's Ultimate Aeropress Technique which, at least for me, always produces amazing coffee.

apparently arsenal is going to offer £100m for declan rice, and another £80m for caicedo. football player values increased so much over the past few years.

€103m is a decent chunk of money so hopefully he does well for them and doesn't end up like some of the other €100m+ players, which did not end up living up to their hype.

money can't buy happiness, but money can buy something that brings happiness: stability.

having to worry about bills, about food, about anything related to money is a huge source of stress. i remember being young and seeing my parents cry because my dad was unemployed and they didn't know they were going to buy food next.

so for me, it's not about being rich, it's about having enough money that i don't have to worry about when my next paycheck is coming.

a good example: instagram. instagram ads are (imho ofc) the best ones out there. sure there are some kickstarter scams, but out of my top 5 fav restaurants, 3 of them i found via IG ads. i also bought two city prints for my living room.

do i like ads? no. i use ublock on every device i can and i use nextdns. but unfortunately, ads are a constant and some of they will show up no matter what.

four months ago i moved to europe (from south america!) and it's.... so damn different.

weather is a big one, but also, it gets dark so damn late! i'm still not used to seeing the sunset at 10pm.

oh and it's SO SAFE. i was walking around town yesterday and i saw a bunch of people with expensive computers outside, just working and enjoying the weather. my first thought was "lmao some gringo is getting robbed" until i realized that no. that's not a thing.

another one: people just plain trust each other, without any fear of being "scammed". like, my neighbor is never at home, so his packages are constantly dropped at my place. when he arrives from work, he just rings the bell and assumes that i didn't mess with his things (ofc i never did).

weirdly enough, i think ice, of all things, makes a difference.

normal ice, made with tap water... well, it's just not as good as clear ice made with mineral water. not only the clear ice will melt slower, but the water quality (as well as the mineral balance, not being as hard or as soft) makes a difference!

another thing you can try: make the cocktail in a different glass, stir with ice and then serve on a different glass.

my go-to cocktail is always an old fashioned.

1 teaspoon of maple syrup, a bit of water, 3~4 splashes of bitters, 60~70ml of a nice rye and a lemon peel (yes, lemon, not orange!), ice.

the lemon peel pairs better with the rye, the maple syrup is sweeter than sugar, but it's a lot more complex which makes the cocktail a lot better.
