I had great luck in keeping the transport boxes in the house at all times. Perfect for when one cat wants to sleep undisturbed and also for not being a completely strange contraption when it's time for the veterinary. Never had to wrangle my cats into a box, unlike my two sisters who have a battle on their hands every year when it's time for vaccinations and checkups.

Insure your cats! Veterinary bills can become HUGE and it sucks to sit there with a sick cat and not being able to do anything due to the cost. But be prepared for that even if your insurance covers the costs, it might not be enough. Which leads to my third point

I want to caveat this with English not being my maiden language. So this might not come out as nuanced as I intend it. Please let me know if it's way too harsh, tone-deaf or such... You will outlive your cats. It's just how it is. Prepare for the fact that you will have to euthanize your best friend eventually. It will suck big time and even though you might prepare for it it will break your heart when the time comes. But when the time comes it's good if you can be as level headed as you can be since it's usually a matter between not wanting to let go for a couple of weeks or end the suffering there and then.

IIRC the NIPT only shows discrepancy in the chromosomes of the fetus and a more invasive test is needed to confirm what kind of discrepancy it is.
The article is kinda... lacking though :)

It’s just not as “curated” or echo-chambered as it was on Reddit which means I read more news about “other stuff”.
The downside is that it can be a LOT of news. :D I wake up to around 500 unread news stories.
Newsminimalist is also pretty good. I’ve just started using it though, but it looks really promising.

There’s so much more to this story than just Machiarrini though. All the morons that tried to silence the whistleblowers should be tried as well. Burn it all down!

There's so much in it that's awesome (especially if you're into that kind of country music) from then up and coming legends. But the scene that stands out the most, for me, is this one with Townes van Zandt. Makes me, and Seymor, cry every time :')
Edit: I also saw Slave to the Grind a while ago and enjoyed it. Not at all my kind of music, but I found it really interesting. If not for the music, for the people pictured. So many originals! :D

strv103 I've been enjoying Unity of Command II lately. It's not too complex but has it's quirks and a surprising depth for what it is. Works on my mac, so it'll probably run without a hitch on your PC.I've been enjoying Unity of Command II lately. It's not too complex but has it's quirks and a surprising depth for what it is.

Hopefully it'll be an interesting fight between him and Verstappen (or VER just does the usual and gets a 10s lead in the first 5 laps... but I can at least hope? :)). Sadly it looks like it will be no rain which would've evened out the field a little.
Ferrari really really needs to be on the ball a bit more. The last years have been such an embarrassment both in the manufacturing of the car and the strategy department.
I was mildly interested until I heard Neil Tennants voice, then I got 110% invested. Nostalgia... Love it! Looks promising!
