Same experience here. We had our baby 12 days ago and wife wasn't sure she wanted an epidural. She really wanted to try without it, but the pain was unbearable. Once she got the epidural flowing, it was a world of relief for her. Everyone is different and your mileage may vary because it's invasive, but it helped us and there were no complications from it.

I can't name a specific "itch", but in software engineering a lot of things can appear to be magical. Those itches are best scratched by picking one and diving deep into it. Youtube videos, technical books, and amateur blog posts work best. It's like learning the secret to a magic trick, but instead it makes it more magical, in my opinion. This applies to any field, btw.

I guess I'm glad the reports I saw stating $150 on launch were wrong. Can't say I'm thrilled over $100 either though.

    A weird mix:

    • "Hurricane" by Bob Dylan
    • Anything by Muse Pedal, my wife and I have a 10-day old daughter and their music calms everyone down. Even the dog. lol
    • On walks, I've been listening to the album "Chicken Fried Snake" by Rattlesnake Milk. Super cool music if you're into psychedelic-y western music. Think desert highways.

$70 seems to be the new normal. 😭 I think I heard a rumor GTA VI is going to be $150? I need to fact-check that, but ugh. Anyways, glad to hear 007 is decent! For JRPG's, I always go back to...

I used to be the guy that hated any souls-like game. Then I picked up Elden Ring out of spite and have since invested around 800 hours. I can't get enough of it. I also used to say I'm done with giving Nintendo my money, then they announced the OoT remake and I reversed my morals faster than a blink of an eye and I bought a Switch 2. (Oh yeah, it's also getting an ER port later this year btw. I'm on the verge or preordering it because I hate money.) The $10 Breath of the Wild upgrade for the switch 2 is so worth it. 4k graphics, 120fps, and other things!
