zatamzzar Link ParentIt's gone downhill over the years. You still get some gems of posts and comments, but it has eventually evolved into slop. It does not seem to attract enough good posters and commenters. This is something I've noticed about communities like this. There was a time when Slashdot was great, and then it just sort of turned into mush.

zatamzzar Link ParentI'm waiting for Teams to be renamed or replaced, because MS has a habit over the past 20 years of doing that to their chat and messaging services (remember MSN messenger, messenger, Lync, and...I phrase it to curious coworkers and other sysadmins pondering the same things with a fun question: what's the "Active Directory in the Cloud" service for Microsoft called? Azure AD? Entra? Microsoft Graph? Bits of all of them? What will be called in 6 months if marketing gets tired of the name again?

I get some woman's Mazda vehicle service video reports, someone's wedding venue...But maybe I just avoided the annoying problem where you constantly get email intended for someone with your same name.

I get some woman's Mazda vehicle service video reports, someone's wedding venue inquiries, tons of stuff from casinos for someone who lives in Vegas, and dental appointment reminders for someone in Alaska.
Sometimes I get flight itineraries. It's wild sometimes, if it wasn't so annoying.
Multiple X-Files MOTW episodes could fill this niche. My favorite was one of the revival seasons in the last decade, s10e3 "Mulder and Sculler meet the Were-monster". The fun twist is that the shapeshifter is originally a lizard man that gets bit by a human, and is compelled to get a job selling mobile phones, and laments the hopelessness of human existence.
