The channel description claims income goes to the writers of the content. But I highly doubt that to be the case. This really seems like someone is making a quick buck on content other people created, otherwise there would be actual attribution for the writers and all that.
Edit:
Okay, it doesn't seem to outright plagiarize existing stories as far as I can find. Unless they put the original stories through something to replace all alien names and such. But, they still claim the stories are written by human authors (plural), given the other AI stuff used I highly doubt to be the case.

A bit tangential, but I got to give a shout out to HFY stories for helping me in my time of need when I was quitting cigarettes. I'd lose myself in the stories, as pulpy as they are, and suddenly discover it to be bed time, with nary a thought given to my cravings or desires to smoke. The tales kept me gripped, and relentlessly pulled me into their world, a world where I didn't even think about cigarettes.
I know some might scoff at these posts as fluff, filled with tropes, and repetitive... But to me, they are to be cherished. I eventually stopped reading them after burning through most of the posts (this was in 2018) and finding that the newer content wasn't really doing it for me anymore. By then though, I had overcome the worst of my cravings and was able to move onto other hobbies to hold my interest and quell any nascent thoughts of smoking.
Couldn't suspend my disbelief. Might seem silly but right out of the gate there were some things that took me out of it. These aliens are supposedly militaristic, imperialist, and advanced enough...

These aliens are supposedly militaristic, imperialist, and advanced enough to have FTL travel, but they were shocked by humans using kinetic weapons, eating their enemies, and wearing enemy bones on their armor as a form of psychological warfare? These things would be the building blocks for wars of conquest in space. They would seem cute and quaint to a sufficiently advanced species like the one portrayed here.
The humans supposedly wiped out an advanced alien species 200 years prior in a space war. The captain knows that this species was wiped out and comments that they were universally renowned for their strength and sophistication. But he doesn't know who wiped them out until his officers tell him? Apparently the humans were able to hunt them down and kill them all in space, but the humans are described as having limited space capability and not knowing about faster-than-light travel. How would Earth even achieve this? Nevermind how the captain didn't know or how the galactic federation or whatever describes Earth as an easy target.
I had other gripes and questions but these two were the biggest for sure. I admit, I didn't finish because this just took me right out of it. Maybe there's a twist that explains these things.
It's more that this is a genre of story and it's hitting all the major tropes. I've generally enjoyed the little tumbler bits that talk about humans from an alien perspective with less of a fuck...

I've generally enjoyed the little tumbler bits that talk about humans from an alien perspective with less of a fuck yeah and more of a "how do they pair bond with every single animal? Think it's cute!?"
But a full story would not be interesting and I hate listening to text-to-speech unless it's needed as an adaptive tool for someone so I'm not listening to this.

Can't stand AI read stories. At least have a human read it with proper intonation and inflection.
