Fonts and typefaces are probably one of the very few things I absolutely adore, and while I am incredibly against advertising in nearly all digital forms, this one is great, satirical, and you can tell they had some fun in making it. Reminds me a bit of the "Don't say Velcro" video by Velcro (which, you should also revisit).
This is the kind of advertising I can get behind because I don't feel like it takes something away from me. It gives me something instead, while also making me aware of their product. You don't...

Oh, that was fun! Thanks. I'm with you on generally hating ads, but this one just nails the satire and the production value to the point that I think it would stand on its own as a fun to watch...

Thematically, i.e., being a spoof about typography, I'm reminded of the SNL "Papyrus" sketch.

(I am allergic to blueberries but I'd imagine those are also easier with chopsticks) I also prefer chopsticks for linguine, fettuccine alfredo, etc (any type of long noodle). I try to make a point of having my silverware be a conscious thought for each meal I make, between fork, spoon, and chopsticks, and not make a default pick based on what culture the food is from. Some of my habits are pretty ingrained from childhood as 'eat this with a fork' but there's a lot of times where I do chopsticks for western food now.
Literally everything you don’t need a spoon for is better with chopsticks. Chopsticks rock. There’s a reason why east Asia hasn’t abandoned them for forks.

I wouldn't call myself an enthusiast per se, given the only time I've ever used more than 1 keyboard actively was when I had a work laptop so one kb was for each computer, but the reason I started...

This is a pretty cute ad. I kept wanting to nitpick the reality of it, for example "you designed a whole font for 6 distinct letters in a logo? But I realize that was part of the humor. Anyway...

Anyway maybe it was slightly inspired by the famous and hilarious SNL skit making fun of the Avatar font.
I don't watch SNL much but I love those skits. These are all satire but I do like all the work that goes into creating a custom typeface even if it's just for a logo although most brands will now...

My personal favorite in media though is what Pentagram designed for Killing Eve that was used for the title and for location overlays in the show.

I'll take vertically longer fonts than that weird period during `18-22 when everyone was using those fonts that had randomly expanded horizontal letters for no discernable reason, at first they were kinda cool, then annoying rather fast.

As for other unique ads that you can tell they had fun with, I'm reminded of the William and Kate wedding T-Mobile ad
I started eating cheetos (and popcorn, and potato chips, etc) with chopsticks, and my life has never been the same
A lot of people mention this and it’s great, but not many people talk about eating salad with chopsticks. I think they work great!

Bonus level: if you or a friend have a 3d printer, you can print knucklesticks: https://www.printables.com/model/145245-knuckle-sticks
Even if you don't have a utensil, don't eat the snack with your dominant hand! What the hell? 99% of people? What are schools even teaching anymore?
Are you a fellow mechanical keyboard enthusiast?

It also has a sequel
Edit: I see now Boojum already posted the Papayrus skit but not the sequel :)

Examples: Super Rich Expanded by Multype Studio
I will always take the time to complain about those, they just hurt to read outside a political flyer
Yeah, randomly super expanded fonts like those used so much can make reading such a pain. I always prefer reading accessibility to a fancier design.
Im very upset. This font has no license! How can I possibly clear my book through legal now for publishing?
