List of environmental websites and YouTube channels to watch?
I would like to learn more about environmental technology to protect Earth. Right now I am using Google Search, which is mostly bad results and not very educational, or nature documentaries, or too complicated for me. Can you please provide me with list of good YouTube channels to watch videos and websites to read about?
I am interested in greenhouse gas emission, electric car, solar panel and battery. I like animal but I do not want to read about their habitat. To learn about animal, I will watch documentary.
Technology Connections covers some environmental topics, mostly in relation to some sort of technology, such as solar panels, EVs and hybrid cars, and appliance efficiency. His videos often get posted here.

Very long video. Thank you - I will watch. This is like watching a movie!
I love Technology Connections (and the extra channel Technology Connextras). He does speak very slowly though. I've found that 1.5x speed is perfectly intelligible and memorable, akin to a real person who just talks faster, yet shaves off a third of the original runtime. 2x is pushing it, though it's still acceptable if you're comfortable with fast talkers and/or have some familiarity with the basics of the topic.
This is the best list of educational or otherwise high quality list of YouTube channels I've seen: https://www.clicknourishment.com
I think filtering by science & tech would give you a decent set. They're all human recommendations as far as I'm aware
Mr. Scott, I have seen his video once before. Very interesting. Mr. Green, I have seen, very funny.
Climate Town - Rollie is a great presenter. Very interesting topics with a healthy dose of humour
Simon Clark makes great videos about the environment

I believe I have seen Mr. Clark’s videos once. He seems very knowledgeable. And English - not USA - English scientist are very truthful, because there is no Trump to control them. Also, I have read the King supports science and environment. I will watch more videos from Mr. Clark. Thank you.
A lot of environmental scientists remain unbiased regardless of politics in USA. Unless you’re looking for research on climate technologies or policy, you’ll still find plenty of non-trump influenced science from the USA. Just because he’s gutting our programs doesn’t mean the people are changing their science. (I work in the environmental field, a lot of people hate him here).
Our Changing Climate deals with a lot of topics on environmental action that needs to be taken. The tone can sometimes be a bit alarmist and singular in scope but the underlying message is very clear, things are changing and not enough is being done.
Kurzgesagt is known for a wide variety of videos, some about the environment but also about the universe or other topics. Highly educational so it's part of the recommendations.
Undecided with Matt Ferrell is another big one for future tech. Though more news-oriented it fits your question very well.
Ziroth covers mostly battery technology but it is fascinating.
Everything Electric is a group of three channels about cars, general future tech and home appliances I think. I personally only am subscribed to their car channel but I linked their tech channel for now. Similarly interesting and comes recommended.
Our Changing Climate is very socialist, I do not understand those things. I am interested in environment because it will make air clean. I do not like the dirty air. However, I will try to watch more video to understand. I have watched the Kurzgesagt. This is very interesting, I thought it was science fiction, but it is science. It is astronomical, which I do not completely understand, but it is interesting.
I have began to watch Mr. Ferrell. I am not sure if he is scientist, or simply journalist. However, very interesting. Mr. Ziroth, he is from England (not USA), so I am sure it is not controlled by Trump. This is also very interesting. These two channels are very technological.
I understand being concerned about the integrity of some institutions in the US right now, but our scientists and journalists writ large are not “controlled by Trump” in any meaningful or direct way.
Mossy earth is such a refreshing channel showing active projects around the world.
Not sure where your from, but most states have universities with environmental/agriculturual extensions with youtube lectures and videos about local ecosystems or plant communities.
I see, they are making the land wild again with habitat for the animal. I did not know it could be done by humans so well, I thought it would require nature many years. I hope that they can restore more habitat. However, the AI data centers may take all the land.
I will speak to my friend, who is farm scientist, about the agricultural matter. Thank you
I sometimes read Low-tech Magazine, mostly because I'm interested in the "forgotten" technology it covers.
Old topic, but I can warmly recommend: https://www.youtube.com/@JustHaveaThink
